This is what i wrote in steve's journal

Hey steve, my name is rashmi & I’m 32 yrs old. Currently I weigh ‘bout 169.4 lbs.
I have a question. I work out 6 days a week for about an hour. 4 days of cardio & 2 days of resistance training.
Today I went for a physio test & didn’t do too well. My cardio endurance & flexibility were below average. Also my body fat % is 43%. I’m OK with this coz I know it’ll only get better.
Ok here the problem, about 10 yrs ago, I was clinically diagnosed with Anorexia. It too is not an issue now. I’ve made peace with my past & it helps me to appreciate what I do now better.
What I need to know is will all the muscle mass I lost back then come back?

Hopefully Steve will be better suited to answer your question - but in my mind, it would stand to reason if body builders can add bulk to skinny little frames, you should be able to to rebuild the lost muscle mass.

That being said - GOOD for you for getting where you are now! To get to a point where that cheesecake just doesn't look like a healthy option shows just how far you've come!

I'm looking forward to Spring Flinging with you :)

Thanks M2M. Rebuilding my muscles is my goal now. I totally flunked my physio test today. Hardly any flexibility or strength. So, something to work towards. Have to get my body fat %age to 22%. Go rashmi!!!!!!
Thanks Exotic_wind. We'll set april on FIRE!!!!

Hey Rashmi, thanks for stopping by my diary. I just finished reading all of your entries, and was laughing at some of the comments you made. They sound so similar to how I feel at times in this whole journey. Keep up the good work. I'll be dropping in more often.

Well Hello my Spring Fling! ;) Glad to be on the same team...I can't wait to see the results at the end...

I finally made it to your diary...belated congrats on fitting into your motivation dress...I wonder if men have motivational slacks hanging in the closet...somehow I can't picture it:) And thanks for the little drive-by poetry - that was sweet!

Ohhh! I think men have motivational clothes maybe not QUITE hanging in their closet yet though ;)

I'm so buzzed!!

Everyday i find something new about my body.
Now, i have a very physically exhausting schedule everyday. from 5.30 am to 10.30 pm i'm on my toes. My husband is out of town frequently, this leaves me handling evrything. I have a 3 year old daughter who gives the word BRAT a whole new definition!!! i could sometimes throw that kid out of the window!!GRRR!!!Example - i left her in the bathroom for just a minute. When i get back, she has squeezed the entire tube of toothpaste onto the sink, & then proceeded to 'BRUSH' it with her toothbrush!!

Anyway, i used to flop down on the bed at the end of the day totally done in!!Now i'm so energetic !! practically bouncing off the walls!! Same scedule-a new me!!!!

April fool's day!!!

Pulled a prank on the hubby today as a part of the challenge. (Details in the spring flingers challenge forum)

I visited my mom today, & that totally put my diet regimen out of gear!
Everytime i visit her, i eat all the wrong food. not because she is a great cook, but because she is an absolutely terrible one!!! i can't eat what she cooks, which means that i end up eating processed food, instant noodles & rubbish like that!!! ties that bind - and GAG!!!!

Hey there ! Aww sry to hear about the toothpaste! ahh! lol

My kids were the same way ! and they are only a year apart.. Can you imagine double trouble? woo boy.. They favored the toilet at that age..putting things into the toilet, even our ducts, they managed to squeeze paper towels in there, got to my furnace and my house was lucky to not catch on fire.

Hope you had a great day today :D

Thanks crazy4beadz for sharing 'bout ur kids. I just might hold off a lil longer before throwing out that child!:)

i saw an awesome t-shirt today. it said

If we are what we eat, then i am NOT fast, cheap & easy!!

not such a great work out today. On the 1st i went for my physio test, which meant that i had to run a mile in less than 12 minutes. I took about 14 mts. the down side of it was that i was totally out yesterday. my thighs were on fire & i was limping all day long
i was sorely tempted (pun intended) to give the gym a miss. but being the good, committed girl that i am * adjusting the halo* i went & worked out, albeit with lesser intensity. Anyway, something is better than nothing!!

today, i snuck off from office for a lil shopping. the mall is right next to this place that sells coffee dome buns. These buns are from thailand they are 500 cals of pure evil. It is a very light bun filled with cheese and a coffee merignue on top. so when one bites into it it iscrunchy on the top & cheesy soft in the centre!! mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
Anyway i had it. I refuse to feel guilty. like i said before i'm fat not dead!!!

Rashmi-

Your thread is so entertaining. I think we are so much alike in our ways of thinking, etc. You can see how your negative thoughts have literally done a 180 in the time that you've done your posts.

Your diet has been great. And, you are right, you do not need to feel guilty about the occasional indulgence. I find that if I plan my cheats for the week, there is not even a pang of guilt. I eat 5 times per day...that's 35 meals a week. If I'm eating well for 34 of those meals, you can't tell me I'm not going to continue to lose weight. You should see my calendar. It's got all the workouts planned out, and little smiley faces where I plan to have my "cheats".

Anyway, wishing you continued good luck in your efforts.

Keep it up by keeping it down!

Jen

Those buns sound amazing!!

And good for you for getting to the gym - the halo might need adjusting, but it sits up there nicely, doesn't it?
;)
