will i lose muscle?

im 6' and about 170-180 lbs ive been trying to bulk up for about a few months ive seen some changes but i have a lil beer belly gut..i do sit ups every now and then and i also eat about 170 g of protein a day and about 25 g of fat..i wanted to know if joging and boxing once in a while will make me lose muscle?
 
of course not. Boxing and jogging are both aerobic and thus will not burn muscle, and since muscles are being used you will probably gain muscle. The only way you could probably lose muscle with jogging is by doing marathons, since your body will be used to using the least amount of muscle to exercise.
 
If you lose weight you'll lose muscle. Since boxing training tends to be in short intense bursts you'd lose less muscle if you're losing weight at the same time.
 
like steel said, its pretty much inevitable to lose muscle while shedding the fat.

The key is trying to find a way to minimize muscle catabolism while exercising.
Don't get all paranoid (as i sometimes do now and then :p), but if you train properly you wont lose much.

Jogging,swiming,biking,boxing... are all great for burning fat.
Is you worried about losing muscle, then just make sure your calorie deficet isnt TOO low...because it can be pretty tempting to lower your intake, cuz then you think ur burning a helluvalot of calories... dont do that.
Take it slow... start high and work ur way down.
