Why more sore now than ever??

I started theg ym 4 months ago and I build up my strength and felt comfortable and more energized for the first few months more then I do now. I seem toget more sore during my workouts now more then ever. I used to be able to do 25 crunches in a row and now I can only do sets of 15. The same with my arms and legs, I had to cut down on them. How come??
 
There can be a ton of reasons for this. How often are you working out? If you are doing cardio everyday and doing crunches all the time as well, you could be overtraining. You probably need to let your body rest most likely. Start putting more rest days into your schedule and don't do abs everyday.
 
it could be a combination of that, and maybe your form is getting better for all of your exercises, making them all seem harder. but IMO i agree with the capt & incitatus, sounds like you're overtraining..
 
sounds like possibly over training. I take a full week off every 2 or 3 months for a better recovery. Also if your supporting muscles have gotten stronger then you will have better form and more concentration on the target muscle. so you might get more of a burn out of it possibly
