As for my avatar i thought it was a cool snake later I have found out it is a mustang or something. I drive a datsun 120y wagon with my surfboard on the roof and a matress in the back.

" Wrangell " was inspired by Captain Bob Bartlett.
Bartlett was the Canadian captain of the ship " Karuluk " of arctic explorer Stefansson’s Canadian arctic expedition of 1913-1916.
After ice claimed their ship, Stefansson abandoned the ship and crew.
Bartlett was left in charge and after the ship sank led the survivors to Wrangel Island, off the coast of Siberia. Bartlett ( and one other crew member ) walked some 700 miles across the frozen Arctic Ocean to get help, returning to rescue the 16 remaining members of the expedition from Wrangel Island 8 months later.
