Which is better...

If you're pressed for time, is it better to do one or two long, strenuous workouts a week, or three or four lighter, shorter workouts a week, assuming you're going to work out the same amount of time either way?

Making these up on the spot, they'd be something like this

Strenuous

- 5-10 min. cardio warmup
- 3 x 25 pushups
- 3 x 10-12 squats
- 3 x 12 military press
- 3 x 12 deadlifts
- 3 x 10-12 pullups
- 3 x 12 calf raises
- 3 x 10-12 dips
- forearms
- 3 x 10
- core work
- maybe some concentration work for bis/tris

Lighter

5 min cardio warmup
3 x 25 pushups
3 x 12 deadlifts
3 x 10 bicep curls
3 x 10 skull crushers
3 x 12 squats
3 x 12 military press

How much time do you have to workout?

Just do a FBW 3-4 times a week keeping it basic but effective

Squats
bench
military press
rows

and

Deadlift
Bench
military press
rows

Should take only 45 min.

strenuous workouts i usually take around 80 minutes..
lighter workouts i usually have to keep to around 45 minutes

i've been considering taking up a schedhule like that, i just wasnt sure it would really get results
