where's the hookup on cheap dumbbells?

Where can I find hex dumbbells the cheapest? Space is not an issue, so I'm not looking for stuff like that Bowflex add-on mess, unless it's somehow cheaper.

Try and look for a used sporting goods store. We have a few like Play It Again Sports that sell used weight for .35 cents a pound used (plates and dbs) or .55 cents a pound new.

For future reference, Dick's Sporting Goods is the cheapest place I could find. I got brand new ones that look MUCH better than the ones at Sears/Hibbets/Wal-Mart that were supposed to be .49 cents per pound but somehow I got 310 pounds for $135. The welds between the handle and hex part, paint, and finish were much cleaner than any others I could find yet they were still cheaper.

walmart has a very cheap pair of adjustable dumbbells... only $30 or $40 which includes 2 dumbbell bars and a total of 40 pounds of weight plates for them.
what makes it so cool bargain wise is they use standard sized weight plates so if you want more weight you can just get some more plates anywhere

i bought this along with a straight bar set that included 100 pounds of plates for a total of under $90 which gives me plenty of plates to stack my dumbbells as heavy as ill ever need
