I'm very pleased to announce that the new eating habits are working!! I weighed both yesterday and today and the scale said 166lbs! So, that means after a month of not losing anything, I added 400cals to my diet and bam, down 2 lbs the first week. The calorie thing had me a bit confused, but it's all working out now.
I realize that I was a "dumb" dieter. I thought that the less I ate = more weight loss. Obviously that's not the case! So now I've had to go back to all of my friends and try to correct the diet that I had told themI followed. Now I did drop 20 in the first 2 months of dieting, but I've also been at a stand still for 1 month. So I had to go back to all those that said, "OMG, what are you doing to lose weight?" And attempt to "fix" the bad advice that I gave them. Whew, I'm hoping that all just made sense.
Ok I will now take the time to mention how much I hate rude teenagers. No offense to anyone or anyone's children it's just I'm so sick of teenagers/people in general thinking it's ok to be as mean as possible to people and act like the people don't possess feelings of their own.
Today's Example: I went to good ole' Wal-Mart in search of some leggings. So I'm surrounded by shoppers going through the clearance buggies when I hear this really loud gargling/dying animal sound. It scared me half to death so I began searching for the source. Not 5 yrds away from me, there are two teenage boys following behind an over weight female teen. They are shreiking and making what I assumed to be their version of a whale cry because they were also calling her Shamu. I felt so bad for the poor girl that without thinking I dropped what I held and tore off after the meanies. I walked up to them and asked where their parents were? They quit their teasing and took off running. I really wish I could have done more. I really didn't even know what to do in that situation, I just knew I wanted them to stop. The girl, although embarrassed because the boys had obviously been following her around the whole store, smiled and said thanks. Oh if only there weren't laws about disciplining children in public
anyways, that's my spill for the day...

Oh and I was quite proud of myself, I went to a baby shower today and didn't snack! *pats self on back*
