What's the point? No matter what, I have an ugly apple shaped body...

If I lose too much weight, my boobs will be gone and all I'll be left with is my huge gut.

I hate it!

Even at my skinniest - when I sit down, my belly rolls over and I can't fit a lot of pants because of my huge gut.

I tried eating cleaner but I'm left feeling really hungry and whatnot.

I feel really bad about myself because I can't really do anything to change my shape.

I always look fat in the middle and bloated and felt really bad on a vacation a while ago when someone commented how porky I looked.

I'm 5'4" and 133 pounds...my measurements are around 35-31-36; but for my stomach...it's really fat especially in the lower part and it doesn't nip in.

I know this is probably..."first world" problems that I'm complaining about but when I see the results of other people here...I think to myself, what's the point? No matter what I do, I'll still have this porky, pregnant-looking body which causes me low self-esteem and I just feel so ugly...:(

Welcome to the board Solitude. Come on, you know you are here because you believe and want to do something to improve yourself. You want to make the outside match your beautiful inside.
I'll write more later but right now I want to encourage you to stop beating yourself up. Maybe you have a large lower abdomen but there's much more to you than that. I want you to think about your best features and appreciate and emphasize them while you are working on your weight. And don't think about that rude individual who insulted you - they have bigger problems than appearance!

Hunger can be a problem but as you search the boards you'll find ways people cope with it. You probably need to search out some type of healthy lower calorie eating plan that works with your personality and lifestyle. I'm no exercise expert but everyone can benefit from weight training to build muscle and it will help you look the best you can given your natural build and genetics. Your weight isn't that high so maybe exercise holds the key.

There will always be people who like to criticise others - but most people recognise that people like that are ugly on the inside which is where it really counts.

We cannot all look the way that we would like to look - but if we learn to love ourselves we will be happy and that is a huge element to looking good. We can also eat healthily and exercise so that our figure is as good as it is likely to be.

How you are feeling better today Solitude. Sure there are people on the boards who have made amazing transformations but most people starting would be thrilled to be at your low weight.
I have a round lower abdomen too - have had one even when I was young and skinny. But it does get bigger and smaller as I gain or lose weight. Perhaps it will for you too. For me even eight pounds makes a big difference.

Don't get depressed by your work Solitude. In my view belly and thighs gain weight quickly and it takes lot of time to reduce fat.So continue your exercises, take low calorie food prepared in home and drink more water which gives you change.

Keep:)

I'm jealous of your weight, really. Right now I've been stuck at 177 lbs and its a struggle to eat right. You WILL lose that belly fat eventually, just keep in mind how incredibly lucky you are to have that kind of weight... eat LOTS of greens and drink lots of water and sooner than later you will see results, trust me! ;)

I would consider the health aspects Solitude, that's even more important than the physical appearance although it would be nice to have both. Carrying a lot of weight and bad eating habits are devastating to the body and greatly increases the risks of many diseases. I don't know how old you are but you want to set your body up now to have good health into your older years.
