What's a good simple full body workout?

I read the weight training 101 sticky and I was surprised they have listed that one could get away with:

bench
row
squat

and that essentially it be it for weights give or take a few other supplemental moves? Am I reading correctly? That seems so sparse. How long is that supposed to take?

I've been doing weight training on and off following a huge list my friend gave me and then using the seated row (row machine with moving seat not part of lat pull down machine) on my cardio days, doing intervals of rowing after 20-30 min on the elliptical. But lately I've been getting confused on what I am to do on my weight training days, I was given a giant list of exercises by a friend, but I get confused and most are small things like calf raises and shrugs and the like. There are just so many; leg press, two types of lat pull downs, incline bench press, lunges, dips, bicep curl, preacher curl, etc, etc.

In another thread of mine flyinfree suggested to get where I'd want to get as shown in my other thread, I could do a full body workout twice a week and then two days of cardio. I'm doubting what I'm doing with weights so I was wondering if anybody could suggest a full body workout that's not terribly complicated or requires a ton of machinery (such as cable machines) as my gym is very very sparse in terms of equipment here at school until mid Nov when we get a whole new expanded weight room. The convoluted mess of juggling exercises has gotten to me, and the appeal of a workout that just hits everything and you're on you're way is starting to look quite appealing. I think it's time for a clean slate and revamp my weight program..

Any suggestions? That would be awesome. So far you guys have been the nicest fitness place I've been to when it comes to fitness and getting advice, you've been very accommodating and understanding my hating of my body, which I appreciate. I added another photo just for reference, It couldn't hurt I guess, though none of them look very good...

Thanks guys.
