A guy at the gym showed me this movement but had no idea what it was called. He said a guy he knew who was a swimmer showed him.
Hold a dumbbell in each hand at your sides and rotate 180 degrees overhead. (Like your're going to dive into a pool) Pause, and then lower the arms parallell, in front of you, back down to the waist. So it's essentially a circular move.
I can tell it involves the shoulders and back, so it's a compound exercise. But I don't know any physiology so have no idea what all it's working, or what you'd call it
