What would be the best supp. for me?

Hi writing to see if some one can help me. I just began wieght lifting a short time ago ans have been taking whey protien and eating lots of steak and chicken with some results. But Now I think I might want to get into other supplements some one sugg. NO2 to me but I heard that it wasn't worth the $$. If any one has any suggestions im open to all please reply

I'd stay away from the NO2...
 
I just read alot of bad stuff about it screwing with your heart and veins on the net. Try and not use supplements, whey protein is good, but other things you can find in alot of foods....
 
its generally a good idea to get some gains under your belt first before getting too much into supps.

diet, training and rest are you need in the beginning. how long exactly have you been training? what are your goals and what have you already accomplished?
 
I have been lifting for about a little over 4 months and i have a good diet set out and gained 10 lbs. but i'm an ecto morph im 6'1 was 170 now im 180. I was just woundering about supplements because someone at the gym asked me and said something about no2 and I was just cuirous but you guys have been doing this for longer than me so whatever you suggest i would appreiciate.

you're an ectomorph? my friend, that makes us buddies now. i'm an classic ecto. you look up the word in the dictionary and they have my picture. :D

seriously, diet, training and rest are all we need in the beginning. you have proven that by gaining 10 lbs in 4 months. my personal opinion is that for the first 12 months of training, a multivitamin and maybe a MRP or protein would be all thats needed. and thats if you have trouble EATING enough protein and meals.

after 12 months you'll have a better understanding of what you need to do to get gains. and you'll be in a better position to judge if a supplement is doing anything for you when and if you start taking it.
 
Thanks alot abear i appreicate youclearing all that up for me its just when the guy asked me and I said just food and whey protien he just gave me a funny look and made me feel i was doing something wrong.... although i might check out some amino acids by twin lab to break down my little ex beer gut....

no problem. many of us got into the habit of just taking more and more supps. but then you think to yourself, i'm taking all this and i'm still gaining at the same rate, shouldnt it be more? thats what the advertisement say.

thats why its important to get to understand your body. and that goes for supps, food, training and recovery times.
