I'm 45 years old and have been loosing weight since October 07. I am 6 feet tall and now weigh 293. I have lost about 80 lbs so far and need to loose another 60. I have been having trouble going up and down about 5 lbs for about 2 months now with dieting only. I started riding a stationary bike about a month ago then added a treadmill 2 weeks ago. For the past 3 days I have been using a free weight routine i found on the internet. so far so good but i haven't been able to stick with an exercise program in the past. I have been separated for almost a year now, leaving me with 3 kids, a house and a stressful full time job. Time is a problem, but I'm making exercise another priority in my life. I have never been on a forum before the other day and have no idea what I'm doing but i figured what the heck.
 
Welcome. Props for the three kids, full time dad thing! I know it is challenging!! Thanks for dropping into my journal. I looks like you have a decent plan, keep working it. I don't know your situation, but I find I have to MAKE time to work out EARLY in the AM while my kids are still sleeping! Do what ever it takes... make some time for yourself! Have good ones.
