What should i do now?

Hi

I'm new to this forum and to the gym lark as well.

I have been going to the gym 3/4 times a week working on different parts of the body each day using free weights and also the machines. As far as my cardio goes I haven't been able to do much in the past 14 weeks because I damaged one of the ligaments in my left ankle... this has resulted in my body fat % going up a little by 2%.

My diet is fairly good, with lots of pasta, fish (tuna) and chicken, but i still have the odd pizza/curry every now and then.

Age : 22
Height: 1.78m
Weight: 81kg
Body fat %: 16.5
Sports I play: field hockey, five-a-side football (Soccer) and golf.

My goal is to get more of a athletic look which is toned and ripped but not to big.

Have I got the right base to be able to do this?

Thanks in advance.

I'm making the assumption that toned and ripped equates to a six pack (feel free to correct me). If that's the case, you're really looking to cut your body fat down a good deal. 'Lots of pasta' is the first thing I'd get rid of. You can post your full diet and folks here can probably point you in the right direction.
