what effect does cardio have on recovery?

If im doing a FBW 3 days a week and im doing cardio on my off days, whether its running, swimming, or hitting the stairmaster is there going to be a negative effect on my muscle recovery? I know that when i hit the climber i really feel it in my quads and glutes the next day, more than i do after squats and dead lifts. Am i doing more harm than good?
 
my simple answer is no you are not doing more harm than good
keep it up. You obviously have a set programme-are you seeing results
