What do I look for if I want to get my BF% read?

Most gyms will have calipers yes, however you may want to call around to your local Universitys. Most of them conduct Hydrostatic Bodyfat tests which are the most accurate.

Going for mine on Thursday.

What department does that at the Universities? Would that be in the gym area I guess? I don't wanna call and sound all stupid (because online it's fine to be dumb!)!

Nah bro - you wont sound stupid at all. Just get the # to their athletic department and they will be able to help you.
