what can i do!?!!?

well my mornings start off really good...i have whole grain oatmeal and applesauce and water and stuff and then just random stuff later.............then when my family comes home they usually BBQ or eat fat stuff and most of the time ill end up joining them...or ill say no then ill end up eating the left overs :rant:.........HOW CAN I STOP THIS...WHAT CAN I DO....IT MAKES ME MAD.

Well...

Often when I know what my family is cooking and I know that it would be a smart choice to avoid it, I substitute it for a salad that I quickly make. Of course I still eat usually the meat they are cooking (using portion control) and it works out great.
 
You might try telling your family about your goals and get them on board so that when you get together they can help motivate you to stay on track. This might encourage better eating habits on everyones part.

I know its difficult to stay on track when everyone around you is stuffing their faces, I think its something we all face at one point or another. Maybe on these occasions allow yourself a little indulgence without going overboard. Watch portion size and look for things that you know you can have more of without feeling bad about. Also you might bring one of you favorite healthy dishes to share....

Hmmm...You might want to have your own food handy to put on the grill. Last time I went to a barbeque I asked what they were having and they said hamburgers and hot dogs so I brought my own chicken breasts and grilled them up. Do you do the shopping or another family member? Just make sure to have plenty of your own healthy options around and you should be fine. Oh, and a little self control doesn't hurt either..lol!
