What Are The Advantages Of A Fullbody Rutine?

Major Advantage: Each major muscle group can be stimulated to grow often (3-4 times a week).
Disadvantage: When you reach a certain degree of strength you may find it difficult to produce enough intensity on the last body parts worked in a session because you are exhausted from the earlier exercises performed in the session.

Thank you so much for your answer.

I've been training on and off for a few years. And now I am back to the gym not thinking on getting huge like I wanted years a go. Now I want to get fit, I want to build my body but stay in shape.

Right now I am wourking out a high intensity program 1 day on 1 day off 2 body parts per day 4 days a week. 1 set to failure per body part with my max and after that 50% of the weight of again to fail.

But I was wondering if I should opt for a full body rutine to get better results.

I would recommend you try total body training for 6-10 weeks and see how it goes from there. Start with something like:
squat
deadlift
bench press
bent row/pullup
military press
curl
triceps extension
leg raise/situp

Do each of these for 2 weeks or so:
1. 2 sets of 15 reps
2. 3 sets of 12 reps
3. 3 sets of 10 reps
4. 3 sets of 8 reps
5. 4 sets of 6 reps
Try to increase the weight every week until you can't do the required reps any more, then stick with that weight until you can do the reps again...
