I started developing some type of liquid in my ab area.... He says I cant work out so I decided to bulk up. But also I dont want to become a lazy ass, so i was wondering if I can still like do regular push-ups and crunches.... youknow, so I dont completely lose all my strength.
The best person to ask this question to is your doctor since he knows what's going on with your body. We don't know your history or what you're capable of doing. So just ask him what you are limited to, then ask him about any specific exercise.

Also, 'bulking up' means you're lifting heavy weight, lower reps, and eating a ton - thus you gain muscle, but also some fat. If you're not lifting, then you're only adding on fat.
