It's wonderful. Let me tell you. I only lost three lbs. and probably look just as fat as I did with the three lbs. still on but I just feel great because I'm working on it, I'm not just sitting on my ass complaining about it. I feel like a million bucks!! :)

That's awesome! I am so happy for you. You'll be at your goal goal weight in no time. Then it will be time to go buy yourself something really trashy. Maybe even leather. :newangel:

Hey Wendola, I found your diary! Good for you on the 5 lbs, that is a huge accomplishment! Ooooooooh, I need some of that to rub off on me :rolleyes:.

Were you looking for it? There's a link to it on my signature. But anyways, I'm sure is just because I'm just starting to eat healthy and exersise that I'm losing kind of fast.... I fear to hit a plateau!!:eek:
 
Where are you? Are you doing the weight training this week?
I know I haven't been around much lately, but yeah I'm staring the weight training tonight. I'm going to do it 3 times a week and hopefully that'll help me lose a little faster I hope. I can't wait to lose my first 14 lbs. and achieve my first goal!!!:jump:

Way to go! That's fantastic. Good luck with the weights and stick with and you'll definitely get results. You should invest in a workout ball. You'd be surprised at how many exercises you can do with it.

I actually own one already but I've never really used it... it's just sitting there, alone in a dark corner somewhere in my room!! lol I've never really used it!:eek:

Use the ball!!! You have no idea how many fun workouts you can do with it. If you want me to send you some, let me know.
 
So I lost half a pound this week and I'm not gonna lie to you, my first thought was what the f*ck kind of twisted sick joke is this? I lost 3 lbs. on the first week, then I lost 2 lbs., then only one and now half? Does that mean I'm not gonna lose anything next week? what the hell?, but then I snapped out of it right away and I thought to myself what are you talking about? You didn't fail!! You're goal was to work out six days this week and eat healthy, and that's exactly what you did, so shut up already!! You were successful so I'm ok now. I understand that weight loss slows down as you go on. I'm gonna keep doing what I know I'm supposed to be doing and forget about the rest, and besides I didn't just lose half a pound, I've lost 6 and half lbs. and that's gotta count for something

I just don't know what to do with it? can we suggest a couple exercises?

Start with a few simple squats. Put the ball against a wall and put your lower back against it. When you bend your knees to squat, make sure your booty is under the ball (keep shoulders back). Don't come all the way up from the squat and try to go down as far as comfortably possible. This is an easy squat that is better on your joints. Add hand weights for a harder burn. You can even do curls while squatting to burn more calories. Be sure to breath correctly during all your exercises, this will change everything and help you have more endurance.

For a bench press, sit on the ball and walk your feet out until you are laying on the ball and it is positioned between your shoulder blades. Keep your feet on the floor and you tummy flat. You will see this requires keeping your booty tight the whole time to keep your body in a flat table-like position. Don't break this position during bench presses and flies. It's comfortable plus it tightens dat ass. You can also hold a weight(s) or a medicine ball to slowly drop and lift it behind you head while in this position. This will work your triceps.

Lay on the floor with you legs straight up in the air with the ball clenched between your ankles. Drop and raise the ball while keeping your knees pointing straight up. this will work legs as well as inner thigh from squeezing the ball between your ankles. For abs, keep legs straight with ball between ankles and lower the ball to the floor and back up halfway. this move will kick your ass.
