Weightloss Diary

It's okay to have small slips. It actually helps boost your metabolism to have occasional spikes in calories. If you allow yourself a "slip" once a week, you won't give in when you're feeling down.
Every time I have something that's not in my diet, I end up losing weight. It really does work! Just maintain control! I know you can!

Great job on the 1.8 pounds! So jealous! :biggrinjester:

Exams!

I did promise that I would be posting my diary entries! Ive been so stressed recently with all the exams! today was english literature, after already gaining my C in language, I thought this was going to go well.

As I was doing the higher tier this time I was panicing! So I miss read the question the one which was above the one I chosen to do. Sadly I had 25 minutes left and had to redo the whole section which should take an hour in 25 minutes!

Im definitely getting a U! fed up!
Ahwel, least I didnt snack of food ahha! Still going strong, I may start building muscle soon as I dont want to go too thin!

Once again, sorry for not updating!

xoxo

Exams are more important than weight loss, concentrate on that for now. Your weight is something that can be fixed later, bad exam results can hold you back or make things hard for you for the rest of your life. (Trust me, I'm a PhD student :smilielol5: )

Yeah, I suppose im not too bothered though, as literature is only seen as an extra in english, the one I passed is needed which is language!
Still dissapointed but atleast is wasnt language!

I dont have another exam now till the 6th of june! which im confident on anyway!

Make sure you study hard anyway, you don't want to jeapordise your chances at whatever it is you want to do next, or have to resit/ repeat.

The only bigger hobby horse I have than "nutrition nutrition nutrition" is "education education education". My grandfather (my dad's dad) started out with nothing (including almost no education- he left school when he was 11) and did extremely well for himself job wise by teaching himself (and having my grandmother teach him) and getting promotions because of his increased abilities. My father took that further, and was the first person on his side of the family to go to university (and has done a lot with it). Education really can change lives.

Another update!

So yeah..
Yesterday, I finally left school forever (apart from exams)
So basically as I was having a drink, i thought just have a bad day - so I did!
I really regret it now though, ugh.
I guess I will soon see if I have gained on monday! wish me luck everybody!

Weigh-in number 3!

Hey guys!
So this week has been tough! I have ate some bad things which im not very happy about, but somehow, I think its done me good because I think my body needed fat.
This week I have only lost 2lb, Im happy with this result because I have lost half a stone in 3 weeks! YAYA :willy_nilly:

Hope I can drop another 2-3 pound this week, then ill be in the 160's!!!
I am slowly realising this is for the best now, It will be worth it when I finally get to my goal.

Thanks everyone for the support.

Thank you! I'm 100+ lbs more than you...so that's probably why I'm seeing big results. Lol I'm still in a daze about it. I keep expecting to get on the scale and see 290 on there, and hear the scale say, "rofl I pwned u fatty!"

"Plaudite, amici, comedia finita est."

26lb is a massive achievement though. Id be well proud of myself. I'm proud of myself for loosing 7lb, its the longest time ive ever been on a diet! how I get into the 160's next week!
Might start toning up now? do you think its the right time to?

Im so happy right now!
Just been cleaning my room, found these jeans that I bought like 6 months back which didnt fasten!
They fasten now, still a tiny bit too tight, but they look fine on, I will be able to wear these in the next two weeks! HOPEFULLY!

Update!

Hey guys, so sorry i havnt posted in like forever! I have still been following my diet but letting myself have treats now and then. Now im not as strict I can see myself following this diet for a lifetime and just not when ive achieved my goal weight!

So this morning I weighed myself and was 1.6pounds lighter, But im abit annoyed because I weighed myself the morning before that and was 12 stone meaning ive lost 3 pounds :(.

I didnt think it was possible to gain 1.4 pounds in a night? I dont know if its because I havnt had a poo for a few days (sorry for TMI). Can anyone explain why?

Hows everyone doing.

A loss is still a loss! :)!!

xoxoxo

Before reading this make sure you read the post before this.

Im annoyed right now, I stick to a diet all week and my sister doesnt and shes on the slimming world plan and she looses 1.5 pounds! cant understand it.

Im going to stick to this diet although I wasnt happy about my result this week!

:)

Don't stress too much about the small numbers, as long as the trend is overall positive (although yes, constipation can cause plateaus in weight loss or even weight gain. You need more fibre. Fruit and vegetables are a very good source of fibre ;) )

You've got the right idea doing something that's sustainable. Just make sure the average numbers work out (so you can have a blowout day, just make sure your numbers are a bit lower for awhile afterwards. But no starvation days- your minimum intake- 1800- is just as important as your maximum. Remember you're still growing, and your weight now- which is normal/ healthy, I'll say it again- is far less important than your health for the next 60-80 years)
