Weightlifting Temperature

I recently started working out. At first, I was at a local gym and it's air conditioned. I quit the gym to work out at home in my shop turned gym and I don't have air conditioner.

My question is, is it better to work out with or without air conditioning?

I have fans but it seems like it would be better to sweat more. However, it seems it may tire you out faster.

Yeah^ My gym i attend is a/c-ed and i still sweat a good bit and i have to drink a fair amount of water while in there. If i worked out in my own personal gym like u speak of i feel that it would just be brutal( i live in Florida, got to about 98 degrees yesterday) So.......personally if u could, work out in a ice chest.
 
I was just curious if it were to help weight loss at the same time.. I do stay hydrated as well. I dunno, I just love to sweat I guess.

The most important issue is that you weight train, and have your diet correct according to your personal goals you wish to earn, and just do it.

I workout in my garage. And, though it has an air duct for air conditioning and/or heating it can get cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I just add a couple layers of clothing in the winter (to aid in getting body warmer faster), and add a good fan in the summer. Neither environment has had any significant advantage/disadvantage in my personal goals.

The body will fight to maintain its body temperature dependent on the outside enironment one is working out in. And sweating is well, a way for the body to "chill-out" when it gets over-heated. Its a way for the body to get rid of waste (such as salt, ammonia, and uric acid) and contains electrolytes, which assist with fluid balances within the body. Therefore one could lose some water weight dependent on the amount and duration of the sweating and replenishing what may be lost by consuming water at the time.

Do not be concerned with the very minor differences in environments.

Pay more attention to these most important "environmental" players within diet and fitness:

1. Getting yourself in your home gym and fitness training

2. Maintaining your diet.

3. A continuing all-out pursuit of knowledge of diet and fitness training

4. Being consistant and persistant, in 1, 2, and 3

If it were me, I would be more concerned with 1 through 4, and how these are affecting my Diet and Fitness.

Correct application of the 1 through 4, environment, FLAT ROCKS!

Do not worry about the SCENT of the sweat that is SPENT in your environMENT

Worry more about your diet conTENT and how your weight training session WENT.

This will circumVENT your environMENT
