Will doing excessive amounts of cardio (2-3 hours) after one hour of weight-training affect the efficiency of my post-workout protein shake? Reason I'm concerned is because I'm thinking my body will use the protein as energy and not direct it to rebuild the torn muscle.
I usually drink my protein ASAP after my workout, usually 2-5 minutes after I'm done. I'm looking to do cardio maybe 10 minutes at most after finishing my workout and drinking my shake.
