Hi everyone,
Completely new here, so apologies if this in the wrong sub-section. Personally, I'm in the "in-between" area, but my question relates to "after", so here goes...
Nice and simple, I weighed 233lbs in early-June, started my first ever diet and included 3 x gym workout per week in my schedule. Today, I'm 210lbs, so it's worked so far.
I have a target of 198lbs (on the big side still, but I'm 6 foot 2 inch tall, and pretty muscular for 41 y/o).
I'm confident I can achieve this given what I've already managed.
So here's the question.
How does your body adapt to long weight?
It seems sensible that the body gets used to a status quo of weight, and I've been 230+ longer than 210, so does the body "want" to return to the weight it's accustomed to? How long is it likely to take for my body to adapt to a lower weight?
This may seem dumb, and if so, I apologise, but I haven't been able to get answers online.
Thanks in advance,
Larry
