Weight Loss - Twin

Hey, I'm new on the forum. I'm eighteen years old, 5'6 and 120 Pounds. I know that doesn't sound overweight, and I hate to sound shallow, but I have a twin sister who looks basically identical to me, except she is ten pounds lighter. It really makes a big difference in our appearances, and I'm constantly known as 'the bigger twin'. I have a healthy lifestyle, and I'm not so concerned about dropping ten pounds, but I do want to get toned so I feel and look better about myself.

She's a hardcore vegan, but doesn't do much in terms of exercise. I eat really well, but I'm going to start cutting out more fatty foods and hitting the gym four or five times a weke. I know it may seem silly, but this is something that I really feel good about working at.

I've been reading a lot of posts on this forum, and I'm so inspired by how hard everyone is working. Getting in shape is a very involving thing to do, and I hope to be sucessful.

According to fitness online's "ideal body calculator" with your height & weight:
Based on your height, your ideal weight range is between 120 and 133 pounds.

I think your goal to get fit and to be toned is great. I would definitely question whether or not you need to be 110 like your sister - that does seem underweight.

I'd rather have a little more muscle mass instead of a little less total body weight.

Muscles burn calories more efficiently and there's nothing quite like that toned, fit body.

Good luck :D
