Thanks all! We are excited to be finished with the build and just moving in soon!! Then there will be decorating, landscaping, home automation, etc etc etc.
I'm taking my first post-licensing real estate course. I go 2 days a week ALL day for 4 days. It's a loooong day ... lol. BUT I'm learning more in-depth about contracts, which is something I will need to know. And I'm networking with other agents, who have been agents less than a year, and so have been giving me the scoop on who to work for and where. Of course, I do not plan on working until after the 1st of the year. I want to be settled into the new house and get through the holidays, both of which are stressful enough without starting a new job too.
I'm excited, though, to close the chapter on this year, and open a new one for next. I'm also keenly aware of how great my life is now since getting sober ten years ago. When I was drinking, I couldn't hold a job long for various reasons -- hangovers, constant conflicts, emotional instability. And there was no way I would have EVER gotten through the real estate class or passed the test. So, I have a lot to be grateful for.
I've been eating on track and going to try to get in some exercise today. I forgot my apple watch charger in a hotel last weekend, and I am really hoping the new charger arrives today because I feel kinda lazy without that watch tracking my exercise. It's like if the watch doesn't track it, it didn't happen. Ahh, instant gratification ... lol
