Weight Loss Journey for Feeling Gooder

I was too. Pretty unscientific test but the scooter seems to have less rolling resistance than the rollerblades so I seem to get more roll for the effort on the scooter.

Weigh ins last week:
3 May 238.1
4 May 239.0
5 May 239.3
6 May 239.7

Need to do better on the eating front over the weekends but still within a normal fluctuation and down 5 lbs since last week.

Adjusting to the warm weather and the before and after work commute. Push scooter yesterday and rollerblading today. Weighed in at 238.4 today which is another sign that I have to do better on the weekends.

I always weigh a couple pounds more after the weekend, but I plan for it. I eat less during the week so I can eat more on weekends and still be in my weekly calorie goal. But the food weight and sodium push my weight up for a couple days.

Great way to plan Mystic,

My calorie intake goes way up during the weekend, due to food being so much more accessible any time I pass by the kitchen. My activity level is good on the weekend but it's quite easy to undo any positive effects of exercise with excessive calories.

Weight back down to 237 today after a couple long roller blade sessions yesterday. Average speed on roller blades seem to be increasing as I readjust to using new muscles

Hey Feelinggooder!
Sorry I've been slacking in your diary...and mine! Thanks for popping in and giving me encouragement...you have been with me through thick and thin and I really appreciate it! Your quote is so right...patience is key! You made a good decision to not do the rolling in the rain...injuries suck!
Keep up the good work man, you're still my wood cutting hero!
Sarah

Thanks Sarah, been a long winter of burning wood so soon be time to get that axe going again to restock before the fall.

Weighed in at 238.4 this morning and back out rolling around on the push scooter today. Little cooler than earlier in the week but a little more encouragement to push harder to stay warm.

Only been a little over a week but noticing the speed is increasing with both the scooter and the roller blades. still finding the scooter slightly faster than the roller blades for the most part but the gap seems to be shrinking.

Hey Feelinggooder! Good to see you around again. I'm going to officially close my thread (not sure how to do that)...I've reached a weight where I'm happy at maintaining and actually havn't updated anything in awhile anyway. I'm doing well, and hope you are too. I just wanted to pop in and give you some encouragement as you have done so much to help me over the months (years?!) I've been on here!
Thanks again and stay with it...it is so worth it!
Sarah

To hell with this increasing body weight now I am going to put an end to my heavy diet and will really love to snug into my clothes easily. Its going to be a new day with a new start and may god help me with all the efforts that I put in for changing myself.I need you people to encourage me with my new rules that I am going to follow.
Thank You

Been a very busy month at work, weight down to 235.7 this morning so back at the original goal weight. Going to be taking a few weeks off next month and planning to do some biking. Hope all is well with everyone

Hey feelinggooder! I'm back! I started a new thread, on my to lose the last 20 pounds! I've been ~maintaining since my 100 pound loss, now I'm ready to go after that original, last 20 pounds. I'm not on a time table, but would like to get off by the end of the year (when I will go back to the US for Vacation!).
Hope all is well with you, and looking forward to getting caught back up!
Sarah

Wow, going on a year. Still near same weight as last time I logged in with a bit of up and down. 240.2 this morning and in the process of training for a half marathon, so far up to a 7 mile run on the long run day so progressing well. Knee still not at 100% but have been concerntrating on changing my running form to lessen impact all around and seems to be working. Aiming for a completion time of 2:30 for the half marathon.

Half Marathon completed, not as fast as I had hoped for originally but set a good baseline to improve upon by end of season. Will be taking up cycling more to improve cardio and reduce impact on body while I start training for next event. Sadly I have been able to gain back weight while training and completing a half marathon.
