Hello,
I am new to this forum and to the whole diet and weight loss scene. I am 20 years old, male, six feet tall, and weigh 310. I have been on a diet for going on five weeks. In the first couple of weeks I lost probably around 1-2 pounds a week, then I added 5-6 days of 45min exercise: three days of weight training and three days of cardio (elliptical machine and walking/jogging.)
Now that I have done this I have not lost a single more pound, yet my family and friends say they see results in my face, chest, ect. My question: Is the muscle I am gaining showing on the scale and it negates out the fat loss? Any advice will be appreciated.
