So I haven’t been on here in a while mostly because I quit.. well that’s not true I just stopped.. I started my journey at 270 that was well I think 2 years ago maybe 1 yr..im not 250 yes I have lost some .. its not that I cant do it its just that I cant stay motivated.. So yesterday I started something new .. I have started weight watcher.. I have to go to meeting and weigh in. so I think this is going to help I’m going for 20 weeks to start off.. then after that I’m most likely going to do more but 20 weeks to start is good.. I wrote down some goals... like losing 10 lbs by the 31st of January. And going for a walk at least once a day.. waking up at 9 everyday.. I’m trying to become a better person. Hopefully it works..

If anyone has any ideas on what else I could do .. iv also been looking for easy kind of fast workouts.. I have a 3 year old son.. I tried tae bo .. but it was really advanced  ..lol I remember when I was 16 or 17 I use to do it everyday.. lol but I cant wait for the day when I can do it again..!
so yea any ideas on what else I can do..

nothing negative.. I understand there’s a lot of rude people out there but there’s no need to be rude to people who are just trying to get better.. that’s not going to help in anyway.

also added a picture .. its from new years

you want what will effect your weight? Don't look to workouts..look at what you eat. Yes, walking helps. workout DVDs help, any exercise does help but the one thing that will help your weight loss the most is reducing your calories.

I think if you do a food diary for a week and look back, you will find better choices.

i already knew that .. thats why i started weight watchers..its proper meals proper portions..i just want simple things i can do at home.. also cause its winter where i live and some days it gets to -30 so it get too cold to take my son outside..

I agree with Jericho.
Counting calories, that is what works best.
For me, reading these 2 topics really helped me understand, I recommend you read them too:
Starvation, Calories, and Adaptations
Energy Expenditure and Weight Loss

As for Tae Bo or any Billy Blanks dvd, those are *really* TOUGH.
Maybe try a dvd that is for beginners?
I love Rosemary Conley dvds as those are so easy to follow :)
10 minute solution dvds are also great.

Btw, you look very pretty in your picture :)
Good luck with your weightloss journey.

Thanks.. uhm iv actually been reading up about the 10 min solutions.. i was gonna try it out.. and thank for the reading material..

Well... do something ridiculously simple every day to remind you that you're supposed to be watching your weight! Like.. stepping on the scale or visiting this website.
Performing this simple action will give you a reminder of what you're supposed to be doing. Even if you don't workout or eat really well, you'll at least be keeping your goal in mind.
When you lose sight of you goals, the road to where to you're going disappears.

I always get so, so excited when I find out someone is starting out on Weight Watchers, especially if they haven't been a WW member before. I know people try and steer clear of diet gimmicks and the programs created from them, and try to lose weight using their basic knowledge about calories in vs. calories out, exercise, etc...

I was an actual WW member from June-October of 2010, and then stopped paying for the services/weigh-in, and just kept using the Points system... have lost 93 pounds in just over 6 months, and I owe it to WW. Sure, technically it's a diet "program", but it's so livable, and so easy to intertwine into daily life. Very broad, very easy to adjust to a lot of different lifestyles. I'm so glad I found it.

Best of luck to you!

thanks everyone...Good People keep me modivated...mean people knock me down..Thats why i dont understand why people come on here and bash people Thanks alot guys.. i know its only been three days but im feeling better already.. eating proper meals and proper food.. lol just went to the grocery store the other day and spent 200$ on mostly fruits and vegtables and chicken ..lol :)

Hello again.
I can pretty much assure you that you won't find too many rude people here on this board! I don't know why, but for some reason, everyone here is really nice!
Thanks for you joining us.
and Thanks to everyone else for being supportive of everyone!

iv been on here for a while..and iv had a few rude people thats why i stoped coming here. but thats for the thanks!:) haha

to be honest...I looked at your old posts and I think I see why you got the reaction you did.

But this is a new start and it looks like you are working on it the right way without pills this time. That is wonderful and I wish you continued luck.

I Go for my First weigh in on saturday morning!! :) *fingers Crossed* i hope i did awsome! lol

I'll be thinking of you and hoping for "good" numbers for you...but Jericho is so right. Even if there is no change in the numbers on the scale, that's not what matters. You know that you've been eating well and that change is what really matters!

Weight Watchers is great...any program that has a balanced nutrition and keeps the calories controlled is what work. I'm sure you'll do really, really well.

And don't worry too much about rudeness here. i've been on since May 2010 and I've never personally come across rudeness. I only know of one person that had to be banned (though there are no doubt more than that). At any rate, it's nothing to stress about. Most people on the forum now are super-nice and just want to be in a supportive, health-inducing environment....

Best of luck to you! I'll check in again on Monday and see how you did at your weigh-in on the weekend!

Hi there! We have similar stories! I've started my weight loss journey again at 280lbs. I'm trying to follow the ww point system again since I had some success with it before. Sadly I don't have money for the meetings. My problem too is just staying motivated! Maybe we can keep each other motivated! Good luck girl! <3

The things your mom says are right...."You can do anything you set your mind to."

You CAN achieve any goal you want, its only a matter of how badly you want it and persistence.

Go for it!
