Weight Loss for the Redneck Charger..

Weighed in today..

Hi all..
Well weighed in this morning at 233.. So doing pretty good.. but what I don't understand.. stomach looks bigger these days..

For Breaki I had a coffee..and 2 pices of raison toast.. and a fruit smoothie which consists of.. some orange juice, plain yogourt, frozen sliced peaches, some raspberries a bananna and ginseng tincture.. I will put the recipe at the end of my post..

For lunch I had lasanna (sp) and a ceaser salad..

and haven't had supper yet.. Not very hungry at the moment..

The recipe of the smoothie I had is..

It's Called a Day Starter..

1/2 cup Orange Juice
3 tbsp Plain Yogourt
1/4 cup Frozen Sliced Peaches
1/4 cup raspberries
1 bananna
15 15 drops of ginseng tincture

In Blender, combine orange juice, yogourt, peaches and raspberries,bananna and ginseng tincture. Process as directed until smooth.. makes 1 Smootie..

I'm picky about brussel sprouts -I love them roasted with a bit of olive oil and a whole lot of crushed garlic an maybe some red pepper flakes - if i'm being especially decadent - some parmesan cheese at the end... actually that method works for any vegetable but especially good with brussel sprouts...

Well they are very good for you..and so is the garlic..:rolleyes:

wish I could make ya this Mango Tango Smoothie for your BD.. :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

1 cup Orange Juice
Half mango, peeled, pitted and chopped
1 wedge pineapple, peeled and chopped
1 slice (1 inch thick) watermelon, peeled, seeded, and chopped
1 slice (1/2 inch thick) papaya, peeled, seeded, and chopped
5 frozen strawberries..

In Blender, combine orange juice, mango, pineapple, watermelon, papaya and strawberries. Process as directed until smooth..

Glad you had a wonderful Birthday.. Happy Birthday again..

G'day All..
Getting ready for a major snow storm.. almost the 1st one this year.. Suppose to get lots and lots of snow..and some freezing rain.. Lovely.. Just F&*(ing Lovely..

Well for breaki today I had a cup of coffee.. some raison toast..and a hot bowl of oatmeal..

For lunch I had a veggy smoothie.. and some pasta..

For supper I am having more pasta.. a blueberry yogourt.. some water..and a fruit smootie..

We just got a huge dump here, Red. $%&*@!!


Lovely..and I thought the way we were going, winter was over... down to mud in the school yards.. thought if the weather kept up the way it is this week.. I'd be GOLFING!!!!But no..... going to snow for the next 3 days..:rolleyes:
 
I'm not a big fan of Brussels sprouts, but there are definitely worse foods out there. My only problem is that they only taste GOOD if they are smothered in butter or something equally bad, but I have found that boiling/steaming them in beef broth can really help cover that bitter taste, and I prefer then when they are chopped into quarters or sliced. Then you can mix them into all sorts of things without any real taste/texture issues, which is always nice,

Hi Red; has that dump of snow been melting yet? It's real warm here.

How's the healthy eating going? You haven't posted in a while.
