Weight Loss Diary of a Personal Trainer :D

Hey everyone

Sooo I'm new to this thing....not sure if it is going to help me or not but I hope so! Little bit about myself....I live in Perth, Western Australia, and work as Personal Trainer. I just finished my qualification in June so am fairly new to the industry... I think that being in the health and fitness industry subconsciously I feel that I should know everything and be able to lose weight easily...but I think my thinking that has had the opposite affect in regards to my diet...lately I have been having problems with binge and comfort eating. I am very active- I usually cycle between 20-50k a day, or if not I'll run at least 5k, or if not that I will have roller derby training (which I LOVE) so I do need to eat more than the average person for this amount of activity, however I just go overboard sometimes! I'm not happy with my body right now as I do have muscle and a high fitness level, however proper nutrition is much more important to reduce body fat!

Oops didn't mean to post that entry already... lol newbie... wow I sorta rambled a bit too! Don't really know where I was going with all that..might just post what I ate today lol

Breakfast: Multigrain porridge with Hilo milk, coffee

Morning snack: Coffee, 2 choc chip cookies, banana

Lunch: 3 pieces multi-grain bread with peanut butter, vegemite, ham and cheese

Arvo snack: No fat vanilla yoghurt and choc protein bar and more coffee

Dinner: Chicken curry

So not the greatest, but not too bad either! The problem is I know exactly what to eat to lose weight, but sometimes I just go on these mindless binges and consume incredible amounts of food, so maybe sharing these experiences on here will help to stop that! As I def would not like to admit/write down what I eat when that happens! haha

Damn you drink a lot of coffee!! Haha!! I had to give it up recently after I was sick for a few days, it kept making me feel worse... going to try drinking it again next week (though kinda makes putting up with withdrawal headaches a waste of time!)
