A friend of mine just asked me if her breasts will become smaller if she does alot of cardio to loose fat.
She has relativley large breasts, a c cup.
so, whats the effect on breast size when you try to loose weight?
 
It's al relative to how much fat is in that area, I've had some clients go down and some stay the same, it's just up to her body... But she shouldn't be worrying about that kind of thing if she' trying to loose weight...
 
yeah thats what i told her. i think she is kind of worried as the breasts are the only thing SHE finds nice on her body.
but if she looses weight, im sure the breasts will still have the same size compared to her body, so they wont look alot smaller.
 
Yup.... also if she starts losing the fat on her stomach, it will make them appear bigger on top of that... plus they may be more 'firm', etc..
 
I agree. It totally depends on each woman. I've also had clients that drop in bra size and those that stay the same.

You could always tell your friend to work those chest muscles because they result in a "natural breast lift" :D That ALWAYS motivated my women clients...lol.
 
lol:p will do:p aslong as she doesnt get all muscular and stuff:p ive never really womans breast with strong muscles underneat.. or.. not that i know of:p it might look nice :)
 
Most women will lose a noticable amount of fat in the breasts, which can be really disapointing.
Don't worry, your friend is not going to get all muscular unless she starts taking steroids or hormones. Women are not designed for that. If she's trying to lose weight she should be doing weight training. That's a very important part of weight loss.

If you look on the grand scale - cup sizes go from AA to JJ so she's actually fairly pert and i'm assuming she's fairly slim as well, otherwise she wouldn't notice a a little old C cup...!

it's all a question of balance, if you are slim, then a B cup would match perfectly....when you are round on the hips and bum - FF gives you a bit of balance!!

katey - FF isn't much bigger than F, it depends on your back size too mind you - as FF is 8 inches of cup bigger than your back, whereas F is only 7 (i think...from what i remember at marks and spencer bra school!)

boys and men...sorry..you are right! boys like to look - men actually know what to do with them!

Queen_Sheba I agree with you. Before I had big bum and thighs and big Boobies 28E Yes very petite framed and small back...I had to wear 30E because you can't fidn bras in that size. I must say I do miss them but I'm so much more felibles I can run more without backpain and generally feel more active.

Big boobies attract the boys but I prefer the way I am now....Boobs are mainly body fat I think
 
fat and mammory tissue (for da milking!) Mammory tissue decreases as you age - which is why it's hard to give a mammogram to younger women as the tissue density is so high you wouldn't be able to pick out any anomolies.

Just remember to check regularly girlies!

I was thinking the exact same thing!!! C IS BIG?? Sure, when I was 12.

C sounds downright dainty to me.

But, the thing is, she's concerned, so, fine, be concerned, but remember that cup size does not make the woman. She can find ways to amplify or downplay whatever she ends up with.

Personally, I'd love to lose plenty in that area cuz I'm darned tired of men talking to my boobs instead of looking me in the eye.
 
I have to agree, a C cup isn't too big. Heck, I was a 34C at 12 years old! Went to a 34D or 34DD (E) by 18, then when I was pregnant or nursing, watch out! I got up to a 34H! Yep, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H! I hated being that big, but now that I am down to a 34D again, I feel really tiny.
