Weight Gain question

HI all, im a very hard gainer i eat so much but nothing seems to work, i was wondering if eating macdonalds twice a day would do the trick. like have one in the morning and one after workout...u guys think that could work? thanks all
 
gaining weight is simply a matter of more calories consumed than calories burned. mcdonalds will give you more calories but at what cost?

how many calories are you eating a day?
 
i eat like 2500-3000, its so hard to eat alot cause im not use to it, and since a MC burger has like 600 cal i think it would be easier to eat that then to spend like 30 min on eating a difrent meal, i dont weight much i weigh like 125 so i bet its ok for me to eat MC
 
eating alot of mcds will screw you over. DONT DO IT!! your just going to get fat, and not muscular. eat lots of protein. not junk.
 
when i started lifting, i was 20 years old and weighed 125lbs at 5% bodyfat with 12" arms. best i ever got was 180lbs at 10% bodyfat with 15" arms. then i lost those gains. :( long story

i didnt get those results from eating crap just to get my calories. think about it, are all calories the same? are the calories from mickey D's the same as the calories from a grilled chicken breast and a cup of brown rice?

you're eating 2500-3000 calories. thats fine for now but to improve you have to eat more. keep doing the same thing over and over and you'll keep getting the same results. the way you get your body used to eating more is to simply eat more, but a little at a time. you dont jump from 2500 calories to 4000 overnight. same as you dont go from a 200lb squat to a 400lb pound squat overnight.

its one step at a time. add 300 more calories, eat that amount for 7 days and then step on the scale. if you didnt gain, add 300 more, go 7 days again then weigh yourself again. you keep taking these steps until the scale starts to increase.

and of course you're training has to match your diet.
 
i dunno abotu the whole mcdonalds thing. you will gain weight but it proabably wont be muscle. try takign a supplement liek 1-AD and use it right. you will naturally get hungrier and if u eat good foods high in protien yoru will eventualy get soemthing. Also dotn neglect yoru legs, they helped me gain soem weight. and just so u know, the suggested value for 20 year old who works otu can consume up to 3,500 calories a day and soemtimes more.
