Weight Gain Help

Sup guys, im currently 5'6 117lbs and want to gain weight. Really quick what are the main things i need. I know calories and protein. Im making a meal plan and want to keep track of certain things like calories and protein, but what else should i watch for... fat? please tell me what i need to look for thanks
 
Sorry, but its not just all about protein. You need a balance of protein/carbs/fats and exercise for a clean gain. Read around and especially the sticky topics. Maybe someone will explain to you in further detail, but I think you need to read some more.

Otherwise just go to McDonalds and live there and I'm sure you'll gain 30 pounds easy.
