Wearing Shirts Problem

This is a weird question, but some of my shirts that are a little bigger don't seem to show my back. I'm skinny, but hopefully someone will understand my problem.

What I want to know is what I can do to change it so it looks like I actually have a back. Is it because my shoulders, one of my back muscles, am I just too skinny, or is it something else?
 
Deadlifting is probably your best bet; rows are also good for the back, as well as squats. If you think you're too skinny, then you probably are.
