**WARNING**new guy here and my "BEFORE-NOW"pictures

this is jus a few of me im currently 6'0 tall and 282 lbs!! ....i get told all the time that i hide it well...and idk but thas exactly what the scales say everytime i get on them!!! im starting this whole weight loss thing b4 i get in the police academy to try and get a head start on the whole fitness part of it id ultimatley like to lose bout 80lbs idk if thas too much or not or whatever but on the BMI calculators and things even at 200 there still saying ill be overweight but at least itll be healthier than 282
 
I'm glad you are aboard. Welcome :) and good luck on your weight loss journey. Congratz on your 2 lbs loss.
 
Welcome =) They aren't kiddin when they say you hide it well. But, that's a good goal to shoot for, might as well start early and do something healthy for yourself in the process.

I wouldn't really frett about BMI calculations. Reason being, they make no distinction betw/ body weight from fat and body weight from muscle. So in other words, you can lose a great deal of fat, but still be considered overweight according to their calculations. :) And yes, you definitely hold your weight well. Good luck...

That's Amazing that you want to join the Police Academy--doing something good for the world and wanting to lead a more active lifestyle. I agree with Alyssa, (mostly because staying with it in the beginning is the hardest part for me too!)

if i passed you on the street i'd see you as a guy with a football players build. you look good to start off with-but if you're not happy then i wish you the best of luck. these before/after pics help-good luck.

Not to trivialize your weightloss but its actually going to be really easy going from 280-200. I only made one change, cutting out pop/soda for water and thats all it took. I went from 265(My highest ever) to 220 in four months. Once you get to the low 200s it gets to be a pain, without making real changes to your diet. So I would definitally make the changes now, so you don't end up like myself. I hit the wall, didn't change anything and now im stuck at 215.

yea brother i hear ya ....but im built a lil diff if i get down to 200 ...thas actually my goal weight!!! my frame is built big and i have lots of muscle now jus under the fat......so at 200 i should be solid then i should to jus be able to tone it up cause in my high school senior year i was 6'0 203lbs and solid as a rock ...but u know that came with football and baseball!! now that im out im hopeing to get that back off!
