I have been reading everyone's stories and decided to start mine.

I officially start on Cohen's tomorrow. I'm excited, scared, nervous.

When I went to my first appointment a few days ago I was shocked to hop on the scales and see my weight - 131.3kgs. I haven't weighed myself in a very long time, but how could I be that big?

I had decided a few weeks ago that I knew I was unhappy with the way I looked and felt and was going to do something about it. Then I heard about Cohen's, the answer I've been looking for. Some friends of mine have been on the shake diets, but I wanted to change the way I think about food, not just replace it a shake.

After seeing what I weigh, it has made me want to do this even more than before. And after reading these forums I too want to become apart of this support group - because I know it will a long journey and am sure I will need support along the way.

So here's to the start of the rest of my life and to making it a happier and healthier one.

Hi Jeannie

WELCOME to the forum and the program...

The program is very structured which I have found a god-send and believe it's why I have found it to be so easy however some do struggle with that aspect of the program. If you are willing to put in the effort surrounding the structure and follow the plan 100% you will be wonderfully rewarded...!

I am now very close to the end and still can believe it! It's been an amazing 6 months!

Keep us informed on your progress!

Well its Day 3 on Cohens and I'm proud to say I have not deviated. I'm struggling a little today - feeling tired and moody - but its also TTOM (double whammy). Luckily its Sunday and I'm not at work.

I'm happy with the amount of food I am eating and am still motivated to keep on track. Went shopping yesterday and walked through the food court and it didn't bother me at all. I didn't want to eat any of it. I have my eye on getting to my goal weight.

Hi Jeannie

Well Done! Sounds like everything is going well for you right now.... keep up the good work!

This forum is REALLY QUIET right now! I hesitate to mention it... but it could be because there is actually an entire forum devoted JUST for us Cohenites over at

There are SO many people there its really hard to keep up with everyone's story, but the support and information is just awesome. Its awesome here too...its just so quiet at the moment. This forum seems to go through little spurts of activity here and there! I keep checking in... but there doesn't seem to be many people!

You sound like you are really in the Zone! I was 141kgs at my heaviest.... but I started Cohens at 117kgs and have lost a total of 30kgs so far, in 5 months (and I've been slow!)... you will get to your goals in NO TIME! Just stay in the Zone! It really is the best key to your success!

Hi Jeannie, A big welcome to the forum. I have been unable to post for a few days as my phone(& Internet) weren't working. I have found Cohen's so good I can't even find the words to describe it. It feels like a miracle to me that I am at my goal weight & feeling great. I am no longer ashamed of my body & have found so much more confidence. Everywhere I go I am getting such lovely compliments but mostly I am really proud of achieving what I set out to do, without deviations. Stick with it & Cohen's will work for you! Once again, welcome. I look forward to following your progress, cheers, Cate.
