Hmmmm... Where to start... I'm 5'8" and currently weigh in at 178 lbs. My ultimate goal is to weigh about 135-140 lbs. I lost 20 lbs last fall, but then winter break hit and Christmas came and Santa brought me 10 fresh lbs! They've stuck ever since. :S

I've always had a huge problem with motivation, but I've lucked out and have a new friend who's willing to help me out. Since we live about 15-16 miles apart and both have crazy time constraints, meeting up every day to work out isn't really possible, but we've agreed to work out whenever the other is working out. (Plus, he's really freaking cute. You can't say no to cute!)

My plan is to work out for 30 minutes to an hour every day, eat better (cut back on all the junk, moderate, etc.), and stop drinking so much damn pop! I don't know how often I'll post here, but I think it would benefit me to have more than just one person to be accountable to lol.

My birthday is in a little over a month, my goal is to lose 15 lbs by then!

Welcome skinny. At least you own skinny jeans. I could never wear them. YOu have to have skinny legs naturally and a pert bum. Oh well, maybe i can try again when i get down.

I wanted to say something about the pop. A lot of people are able to switch of this bad habit by switching totally to water. My habit was coffee all day and i didn't think i could go the water but i have and it was easy. Pop, as you know is just sugar. If you did nothing else but stop drinking pop you would lose weight and be back in your jeans in no time. You'd probably save your teeth quite a bit too. Eat fruit instead of pop and drink water. You'll be there in no time with you daily gyming. Don't forget to take a day off that from time to time. The body needs to mend. If you don't, you will probably get to a point of being very tired and you may also get an injury.

Haha well admittedly I don't actually own any skinny jeans yet, but I want to! I took a good step yesterday by picking up the new security code to the gym in my apartment complex and by getting some new workout clothes. That's good motivation right there! Today I've got to convince myself to go work out for at least a half hour. I don't think that should be tooooo hard... Maybe...

If it has been a long time since you worked out take it easy in your first session and remember to always warm up for about 10 minutes before pushing yourself.

Hi Skinnyjeans! I'd like to fit into my skinnies too. :p Seems to be a nice motivator..! Soda's something that has crept up as a problem for me too... Let's kick it!
