Hello all forum friends... Back from my trip... Sooo glad to be home!!! Lets see if I can remember what I ate...

Friday left at 3 am... so tired and icky didn't feel like eating at all (very rare!)... finally ate grilled chicken sand that night that had been squished around in the bottom of my bag on the way to Boston, had a couple drinks and went to bed!

Saturday was set up and had half a bagel and some melon on the way to convention center... Ok... here comes my proudest moment of the trip... Has anyone ever been to The Cheesecake Factory? Their menu is wow! I actually only got one of their weight management salads (under 560 cal), only ate half of it, and had the other half for dinner... Still can't believe it...

Sunday worked all day (I usually dont eat at trade shows when I am cooking... if you are looking at food all day, you really don't feel like eating it...) Had a big salad & some Margherita pizza...

Monday worked all day... been having Kombucha instead of Red Bull... works pretty well! Had a big salad and some dolmas...

Tuesday some Greek yogurt and some more pizza...

Wednesday up at 3 am to travel... didn't eat till got home 10 hrs later... Sandwich and then my boyf awesome spaghetti for welcome home...

Thursday I really bombed! I was so exhausted I couldn't fight temptation..
Cottage cheese & fruit (started out well....) Spaghetti (got to use the leftovers?) Cheesburger... Damn it! Boyf bad influence! Onion Rings and Fries too! He brought them and put them in front of me.... Aaaaach! Had that early in the day, so at least I had enough self awareness to not eat the rest of the day...

Friday didn't weigh... too scared from Thursday debacle... ate lots of fruit, salad and better things...

Saturday didn't weigh (been 10 days now)... too scared from Thursday debacle... went for a walk on the beach... Decided to flush, so drank protein shakes every 2 hours had a big spinach salad and an artichoke...

Sunday- Weighed today! Actually lost weight over the last week+ 4 lbs! I most have been working harder than I thought... :p

Anyways... thats the gist of my last week... Ready to get back to my routione

:grouphug: Wanted to stop in and say hello since i've been pretty bad at touching base lately! Glad your trip went well and WOW at losing weight while away from home!! That's usually hard as heck if not impossible, so GOOD ON YOU!!!! :D

Unfortunately woke up still sicky :( Slept a lot yesterday and still slept through the night... I wonder how many calories are in Theraflu? Gonna mow on lots of fruit today and stay down and try to shake this... Kinda knew it was coming... I almost always get sick when I travel via airplane... all that recycled air... blech!

Mood- Still sick!

I think it is starting to break up though... Throat scratchy all the way into my ears... sick of hacking... but works abdominal muscles to cough.. ya! Ha ha! Fab day to you all forum friends!
 
This has been a nasty little bug. I'm glad to hear it seems to be breaking up, but I'm sending wishes that you will soon be completely over it. {{hugs}}

Mood- Finally almost better

Well.... you know the phrase "Feed a cold, starve a fever?" Well... I sure didn't have a fever! Fell of the wagon completely... ate a bunch of crap feeling sorry for myself... didn't exercise at all except for back and forth to the fridge... and haven't weighed in days in fear... *casts the "stink-eye" at the scale over there* Using second reset button for tomorrow and try to put the ickiness behind... Thanks for the well wishes... and I will be back, hopefully healthy and refreshed, in the morning... :ack2:
 
Ugh sorry to hear about the over-eating. Good luck on your next weigh in and I hope you feel better soon.

Mood... Sniffly but definitely better!

Didn't gain as much as I was feeling I might have... Just a couple.. Not changing ticker "dress for the job you want, not the job you have = ticker the weight you will soon be back to, not what is on the scales today" Ha ha! Now that I am on the mend, back to the grindstone food-wise and soon back to exercise once fully recovered... ie. tomorrow. *fingers crossed*

Mood.. ok

Missed yesterday.. boyf sick now too, so at least well enough to be nurse..ate too much yesterday, but it was all good homemade stuff... horrible weather lately putting the nix on exercising outside... Got to get back on track! But been so extra hungry lately... still, I haven't run to the hamburger stand in quite a while, so happy about that... being sick for a week+ really fouled me up.... Get it in gear girl!!!! Happy day forum friends!

Mood Good but tired

Well.. in the midst of interviewing for a new job, and getting a new job, I have lost track a bit of my eating and exercise routine... I am going to be extra extra busy busy (hopefully too busy to eat bad stuff) so I might not be able to check in everyday as I have been doing... but I am not stopping! Will update as often as possible.. (is bookmarked on my top bar, so I cannot forget!) Have a great day forum friends!
