Ya.. My guy is a great cook... The problem is we are both chefs, so we both love cooking AND eating! And we are around food all the time... No getting away from it... He doesn't have what little will power that I do, and so things keep "appearing" in the fridge... :banghead: *sigh* Whater ya gonna do?

Day 9
Mood- OK... have a tummy ache :(

Still the same weight.. Would like to see it go down more, but I have to remind myself that even though it hasn't moved in a few days, 4 lbs over 9 days is still awfully good... Rainy and dismal, but I am going for my walk anyway! Have a happy and healthy day forum friends!

Mood ok but sicky

Went on 2.5 mile walk yesterday even tho I had a belly ache... Felt a bit better actually.... Went razor clamming on the beach.. good fun and good excercise! Haven't done it in a while and oooowey, my back and abs and arms are a-painin' today! And I drank too much once again to celebrate the capture of the elusive clams for dinner! I could sure put away some booze in the past, but restricting my calories like this has turned my into a light-weight... which is good! What I had last night would never of made me this loopy in the past, and I sure wouldn't feel this crappy in the morning after normally... Good! Maybe this will help drum into my thick head NOT to drink so much... Gonna take it easy today since my back is sore... Have a happy and healthy day forum friends!

Mood- pretty good

Happy Saturday forum friends! I lost 1 more lb! A great way to begin the weekend! I actually kinda feel like exercising today, and that is totally unlike me!
So it is a round 5 lbs down... That means measurement time... I am gonna do it every 5 lbs down...
C-48 W-44 H-45 Thats 1 in off the chest, 2 in off the waist, and 2 in off the hips!!! Holy Cow!

Mood- pretty good but wishing these headaches would go away!

Weight still going down... knowing this fast rate can't last forever, but I sure like it right now! I guess something is working... Have never really concentrated so much on the calories in vs calories out before... I think that may be the difference... Before when I have lost weight, i pretty much starved myself, and was woozy all the time... This is the kind of thing that 1. Makes sense, and 2. I can use for maintenance as well... YAY! Sun out for the first time in a few days, so... let's play outside? Yes! Happy Sunday forum friends!

Well done on the fast weight loss, Vino. I'm like you, losing fast early, even though we know it will soon slow down. But it sure is nice while it's happening!

Mood- regretful of late dinner and wine splurgefest...

Went and got my blood work done this morning.. cholesterol and all that... pretty good on most of it... great blood pressure, Glucose and Triglycerides are a littlle out of wack tho... Could it be wine consumption??? Nooooo...... Ok... well maybe... Ok... yes it is.... Darn it! *sulk!!!*

Feeling a little low this morn... boyf dieing for hamburger, so I am going to have one too... been 2 weeks, and I am making a conscious decision to get one, eat it, really enjoy it, and not feel guilty about it... Having it early in the day so I can exercise some of it away... I think 2 weeks and 7 lbs down deserves a little nom nom! Have a lovely day my forum friends!

You seem pretty serious with your weight loss and it's a good thing because we need consistency in order for us to achieve our goal.

Mood- Good... the sun is out!

Thanks guys!!! Hanging in there~ Tiny bit up this morn due to hamburger im sure... doing some protein shakes today... Went razor clamming this morning and walked about 3-4 miles... got some this time :) Have a marvelous day forum friends! Survivor tonight! Yaya!

No more loss :( but lost an inch of waist :) how is that? :confused: don't know but I will take it... hey... does anyone else get mad when they do a weigh in on a show and they don't give the persons height? geez I hate that! need point of reference PLEASE! Since what I see in the mirror seems not to have any relevance to how I really look, I rely on seeing other people relative height and weight to give me an idea... Well done on the inch from your waist, Vino! Of course, if you've lost a whole inch from your waist, you're bound to also have lost bits from other places you don't measure, like your toes, fingers etc. So keep up the good work.

And I totally agree with you about the height thing. On one of our Aussie Biggest Losers a couple of years ago, we had a guy who was 6' 10! And yes, he was overweight, but people kept talking about him as a big threat because he had "so much to lose" plus he'd get all disappointed when he didn't lose huge numbers. It drove me crazy, because of course a lot of his "weight" was bones, organs etc. [end rant]

Mood :(

I really screwed the pooch this weekend... Started with impromptu party Friday night... drank too much of course... hung-over on Saturday... you know what that means??? Crave for the crappy food and feeling icky icky icky... Sunday there were left-overs of crappy food and left-over booze that I felt good enough to get into (had to eat/drink it and get it out of the house right?) and still didn't feel like doing anything!!! Didn't eat all that bad considering... it really could have been much worse... but it wasn't good either... Pressed "reset button" and did my walk 2.5m this morning...

I like the reset button idea, since I need to do the same today. I guess we have to cope with the fact that we are human and not automatons. We CAN and we WILL do it!

Mood ICK!

Feeling horrible today.. migraine and stomach yuckiness... sniffles too! Poo! I better get over it quick cause I gotta go out of town for work on Friday... Tried to eat a little fruit.. didn't work out so well.. maybe try something else later... gonna go back to bed and feel sorry for myself... Have a happy day forum friends...

Mood- Better than yesterday!

Ok... even if I feel a little sick still, I lost another lb, so Happy happy about that... went for my walk today... started to jog the a little in the middle and end just to get heart rate up a bit... Starting to worry about my work trip... There is soooooo much good food to be had in Boston... :drool5: It is gonna be tough!!! Luckily I will be working most of the time... but still... and then there is the mini-bar and room service right there... just calling... aaaach!
