Today I went to the gym and walked on an incline for 30 min. Had stuff to do so I left.

Went to Panera for breakfast and got my mom some food to go at Heavenly. Got an egg with steak and avocado and spinach. I also had a small sample of orange chicken at the mall. I had 3 whole wheat slices with Turkey cold cuts. Then I had a tortilla with Turkey and a boiled egg And Mayo. Then a low carb tortilla with ground beef. Still feeling hungry but it’s too late to eat anything else.

Taking care of errands! Did a lot today. Worth mentioning I went to the mall to the apple store to find out how to use my Apple Pencil on my iPad. I also went to Ashley furniture and bought some furniture for my living room!

Yeah I have a lot of appts and errands for the next two weeks. And my mom and bro should be leaving mid month of Feb.

Didn’t check my weight this morning because I ate at midnight last night and was up for most of the night in and out of sleep.

But I did make it to the gym and walked for an hour on the treadmill at an incline (15%). Planning on going later prob to lift weights.

Breakfast was one slice of whole wheat bread with 2 slices of deli turkey breast. Lunch I ate early was 1/2 small cinnamon roll. Handful of Cheetos. Whole wheat bread with 2 slices of turkey breast. Then I had a bowl of ground turkey and one corn tortilla. And some steak. And had some Fritos!

Ate a lot for lunch. I’m going to eat dinner later. Might go to the gym later. Or maybe just do an apple fitness dance video.

So today I went to the gym and walked on an incline for about 23 min. I got off so I could do some strength training. (Even though I did not want to… mostly because I had an early appointment.). So I just did upperbody and one ab machine.

Went to my nutritionist appointment. Had a lot of good info that I’m going to incorporate in my diet. I’ve included some food that has antioxidants . Going to cut back on the sodium. She said I should rinse the canned veggies with water before I eat it. Since I started with canned veggies now! She talked about how salt influences your heart. A new perspective that I should know already but she broke it down for me. I have another follow up appointment next month. Glad I went!!! My mom came too!

Then I had a mammogram appointment in Peabody.

I ended up eating a pork sausage link and a slice of bacon and quarter of a whole wheat bread for breakfast. For lunch I just had the same without the bread. Dinner I had chicken breast, broccoli slaw sautéed, and yellow bell pepper with cilantro. I had a couple of coffee with almond milk. After dinner before bed I had a slice of whole wheat brea. Then I had some ground beef and a half of an English muffi.

With Diet Coke addiction she suggested I have a glass of plain water after I drink a beverage.

She also advised me to maybe eat dinner a little later or have a snack. Like a fruit or something. I told her that I’ve been binging for over 20 years. Especially at night.

So the salt she gave me paperwork to read over. Also about cholesterol. Mostly your gene affects it. Since your body makes it too. But she did give me paperwork to read to try to lower my numbers.

of course she told me that instead of snacking on unhealthy foods to replace with fruits.

I’m by my sis for Friday dinner and shots. Of course I declined.. I have been doing that a lot lately. Saying no thanks… that’s too salty too greasy too sugary… anything that I need to do to not take the food offered. It’s actually a lot easier now.

I’m in control finally. And eating meals.

i also bought a cooler to put my sandwich and other things like my water and almond milk and crystal light to take with if I go anywhere. I was by the VA in Bedford and this guy had one and I was like a great idea!

Tomorrow it’s snowing all day!!! So I’ll be home. Will do my laundry and do my apple fitness videos. Maybe switch it up!
 
Woke up early this morning. Weight at 140.8 lbs. but I’m not really caring what I weigh because my clothes all fit me. But it’s nice to see that number.

Today I’m home all day. Can’t leave because it’s snowing all day. A blizzard warning.

Drinking a hot coffee with almond milk for breakfast. Breakfast was 2 slices of deli roast beef and one slice of whole bread. Lunch was 2 slices of the roast beef and steamed broccoli. 2nd lunch I had 2 turkey breast slices, some steamed veggies and a slice of whole wheat bread. Dinner will be sautéed chicken with broccoli slaw that I’m going to cook with the chicken.

Started my laundry about 5 loads I have to do and pack them away.

I don’t have anymore sodas at my home. I’m not buying any for right now. I am going to by a big diet soda whenever I’m by the gas station (Cumberlands).

Saying no is always hardest at first. Peolle get used to it over time though, especially if you don't make them feel like they're weak/stupid/unhealthy for eating things you don't eat.
 
No I don’t judge anyone for their food choices. I’ve been so unhealthy for so long so I can’t give anyone any advice!
 
You're doing really well, Vic. I'm glad you went to a nutritionist. My cardiologist says that if there is one piece of advice that he would love everyone to follow it would be to lower their salt intake. I have an aneurysm in the middle of my heart & mostly they are not detected until they burst & are discovered in post mortems. I felt that there was something wrong & pushed for a referral to a cardio. I'm so glad I did. Maybe if I hadn't I wouldn't still be around. Cutting right down on salt has kept it to a very slow growth. Processed food has so much salt.
 
Well just got a message that I have another breast mammogram in a couple of weeks. I’m not sure why. Waiting for my pcp letter. Hopefully it’s just dense tissue.

Up extremely early. Thought it was later when I looked at my clock. I did go to bed early. Then at around 11 pm or so I woke up extremely hungry. Got a slice of whole wheat bread and a slice of deli roast beef with yellow mustard. Went back to bed. Had a dream and woke up thinking it was real! Got up and had a coffee with almond milk and a slice of half toasted plain whole wheat bread! Then I had the other half later.

Have to dig my car out today. Waiting for the others to do theirs first. Planning on doing a video later this morning. Then I have to finish my laundry and put everything away! The hardest part. Depending on when we move our cars… I want to go to the gym.

My weight is 139.4 lbs! (Early weigh in). My new lifestyle is really working for me. I’ve been eating a small amount every 3.5 hours or so. Just trying to just eat my main meals. Just enough so I’m not hungry! And no snacking.

For breakfast I had a slice of whole wheat bread and 2 slices of turkey breast deli slices and another coffee with almond milk. Lunch was a slice of whole wheat bread and a package of tuna with bacon flavor. And 2 slices of roast beef. Before dinner I had a slice of maple flavored bacon. Dinner was airfryed chicken with a whole wheat tortilla with yellow mustard and ketchup and hot sauce. And I had some mrs dash. Need to buy some more.

On another note I have started dating again. I was going to wait until I’m under 120 lbs but I might never get there and the time seems to be flying by. So I put up a profile and started texting a guy. He seems awesome so far. He’s really into CrossFit Which is so cool. He’s around my age and seems he’s got his life together! I really hate dating multiple people so I hope he can ask me on a date… Maybe for coffee or dinner! Coffee would be better!

Ended up doing a 30 min vid in the morning and a 20 min one in the evening. Hopefully I will fall asleep soon! Have to go to an early morning appt but still want to go to the gym. Let’s see what will happen in the morning.

I think my weight is 139.2 lbs but I forgot what the scale said. All I know is that it’s under 140 lbs!

Went to the gym and walked for 2 hours at 15% and faster than 3.1 mph at times.

Went to optometry at Bedford early this morning! It’s a new facility and there is a lot of fancy machines now! So ended up getting two glasses- one to drive and one to read with! I had to be very assertive to advocate for myself.

I actually did a great job in backing up my suv early this morning. Glad I did not hit anyone’s car!

Breakfast was one slice of deli buffalo chicken and one slice of Sara Lee 45 cal bread. Had another one for lunch and I had a salad with sg poppyseed dressing.
 
On another note I have started dating again. I was going to wait until I’m under 120 lbs but I might never get there and the time seems to be flying by. I missed seeing this as I was away at the weekend 🤞 I hope he's a nice guy & you get to go on a date. Is it not ok for you to ask him if he wants to meet up for a coffee?
 
Yeah waiting for him to ask me. He said maybe sometime this week.

I think it sets a bad precedence because then I’ll always have to the aggressor. Just my opinion on the matter. Just taking things slow. I usually like to speed things up but I learned my lesson…from my past relationships.
 
So ended my day in a mini binge. Oatmeal with walnuts and raisins. Then I had a whole wheat toast with two slices of buffalo chicken slices. Then I ate 2 donuts!

Can’t seem to fall asleep tonite.
