Véronique Chapter 3 the 170's one last time!

Hello Forum Friends

Ok so this is my 3rd Diary on here....my last one didn't really get me anywhere I wasn't feeling inspired, and it was starting to be a little too negative for my taste.....So this is day one of my journey out of the 170's once and for all. I am have been stuck in the 170's for too long, and I know exactly what to do in order too loose weight, it's the sticking to it part that is hard for me. I am unemployed at the moment and not enjoying it....I have more then enough time to work out, but my head is not in the game....plus there is a hair salon in the basement so I can't really do my workout games during the day when I have chance, I know those are all excuses, and that is an habit I must stop....stop finding problems find solutions instead! The little ones are requesting my undevided attention I must go......

At least you know how to maintain when you get to where you want to be and you can be grateful you haven't gained and have kept off the weight you lost in the beginning.
The weather has been warming up so there is no excuse to not get out walking. I went for a small walk at work today and it was only plus 5 but I wore my jacket and walked fast enough to stay warm. Every little bit helps. You could also do things like lunges, squats, push-ups and make yourself a little interval program - 16 reps, 14 reps, 12... and so on and it wouldn't bother anyone in the basement. Jumping jacks shouldn't be too loud either and they are really effective. Even if you do make some noise don't worry about it - it's your house and they can't yell at you for living.
I know you can do it because you did it before - one day at a time friend and you'll get there. Have a great weekend!

I am so glad you are back!!! I know I can do it! That is why I get so mad at myself!!! Next week hubby is working days so I will be able to get my walks in the evening like I did last time....since I am not working I could have done it during the day.....No excuses I was just plain lazy.....I have to fix a goal. I was thinking at the end of next November I will have to face my former co workers at the Christmas Party....and I want to look and feel fabulous...I know it's a bit childish and shallow but since they got to keep the job I want to look better lol! I am at 179.2 still this week. There are about 35 weeks left until the Christmas Party so I was thinking 1 lb a week that would bring me down to 144.2 or around there. If I do meet this goal I am of course getting a new hot outfit, for the event, as well as my hair done! That is my goal as shallow as it is. Sad that is the only event planned this year...hopefully a new job too.

Club Sandwich with fries ( hunny insisted for a date ...it's the only thing eatable at the place we went)

Salad with either chicken or legumes.

I want to drink wine it's seem like an habit for me on friday now have some wine....I need to stop this, my dad has a drinking problem ( he has kept a job and we never missed out on anything, no violence either) He used to come home to his case of beer on the weekend I don't want to become like that!

I have wanted to post this all week put didn't get around to it. I put together this meal this week it was so good. I don't really count calories I basically eat when hungry and as soon as I find my ww stuff I will start counting the points again.

Ingredients

3-4 pieces (cloves) of garlic (cut in the smallest size possible)
1 small red oignion chopped
1 Red Pepper cut into long pieces
1 cup of mushrooms ( I used white put any would do) sliced
3 cups of chopped spinach (fresh not frozen)
1 cup of pin nuts
1 cup of feta cheese.
Italian seasoning to tast

I started by heating up some olive oil in a pan once heated I added the garlic and oignion once they where soft I added the red pepper I waited about 5 min then I added the spinach and mushrooms, and the seasoning. Once the Spinach is very tender I added the nuts and feta and lowered the heat to min for 2 min I serves it over 1/2 cup of whole wheat pasta.

I loved it. It was filling but light at the same time kind of like a warm Salad

Good luck with this brand new diary of goodness and weightloss! You could still do some type of yoga during the day since it doesn't cause too many large thumps. It is supposed to be slimming and I feel like it helped the backs of my thighs firm up nicely.

The Biggest looser game has yoga in it.....I will have to look into that...stop the excuses and just do it!

I was getting so negative in the last journal I needed a fresh one just to restart my motivation! I find it has help me so far!
 
Ok so I didn't get to come back on here and post my food for yesterday cause I decided to curl my daughters hair...man that was long..my hubby's grandma was celebrating her 80th bday yesterday and her son had planned a get together in the last couple of months unfortunatly he lost his battle to cancer a couple of weeks ago, but he decided to go ahead with the plan since he had wanted to plan it. It was a bit emotional but still I think it was good for the familly to be together for a happy occasion. The only part that was akward is when his two grand children ask where he was....I think his son just told his son that grandpa was sleeping, not that he died....I think they should have been told, everyone has there parenting style, mine is very upfront we brought our daughter to the funeral to explaine to her death. Ok back to the original subject food log.

and 1 cup of raw veggies no dip

Way too much bread I need to go do groceries today!
 
Yesterday wasn't a good day food wise but still a good day. I will get to the food in a bit will start off with the good part. For the last 2 weeks enven with me being at home my house was in a very poor state...my husband was working night shift and everytime I started to do something he would convince me to sit with him...( he gets lonely on his night shift) in the evening I would put the kids to bed and just sit in front of the tv...the only thing being done was dishes. Sunday Morning after breakfast hubby and I told the kids that our sunday familly activity would be house cleaning it was actually fun...we didn't just did cleaning at one point I was running after the kids with the vaccum...it just was nice to have the whole familly working together! Now I just have to keep it up so it doen't go back to where is was.

a chicken burger (the breaded kind :( )

I have to start drinking water again all I had yesterday where 2 coffee in the am and a couple of sips of water here and there. My wedding ring feel so tight I can barely stand it....and it fit find even when I was pregnant!

My goal for today is a 30 min work out and drink at least 2L of water that is gonna be doable! I will post my food tommorow or later on today! I have to start making daily and weekly goals!

This week I want to do at least 3 workouts with BL on xbox and up my water each day!
 
I like the idea of daily and weekly goals too.
We did a bunch of cleaning this weekend too and it feels so much better to be in a clean environment so I can concentrate on working out when I get home and not cleaning.

aww nice that your husband just wants you to be around though! Even if it is restricting your exercise!!

I think the idea of a new diary, a fresh start AND a long term goal is a great way to get things kick started again. Its all about focusing on the long term rather than getting hung up on the 2lbs loss then 1lb gain in the week - this is where I think a lot of us fall down motivationally.

How about some non-impact exercises - some of the pilates/core stuff like planks etc.. are KILLERS!! I have a 10 mins abs exercise DVD (its actually 6 options x 10 mins each) and that is quiet, low impact but very very testing. The 10mins series is pretty good from what I've seen so far.

Anyhows, nice to see you with renewed vigor!

Hi Jay Thanks for stoping in.....I have the windsor pilates series...I just need to find a vcr that works...I should have bought the dvd lol! So I didn't get on here as much as I wanted this week got busy....first off I may have found a job....it all depends on weather or not I have my 12 grade...I always tought I was 1 credit short but I may have been wrong. I have to go get my criminal check this morning just in case just to get the ball rolling in case I do have my 12 grade...so this got me running around trying to get dicuments from my old school and going to the police station in order to start the criminal check.
Second my husband had to go to court...I don't remember if I spoke about this on here last december my hubby got caught speeding 10 over the limit but aparently his license had been suspended and no one tought we should know. We never received a notice or anything...the court date was this week OMG that was stressful I went with him as his interpretor we both had no idea what was going on and how thing worked....and that is one boring stressful way to spend a day! I will be back later today I just really wanted to post my weight in 179.9 lb....
 
Hey Veronique - sorry you had a busy stressful week. I hope you get to relax some this weekend. Good work coming here and staying accountable by posting your weigh-in. Set a goal for next week and keep at it girl!

Friday

Breakfast (in the car, on my way to the police station to get my criminel check started)

2 ounces of chicken breast
1tbsp of mac salad
a couple of potatoe wedges
I passed on the gravy
1 1/2 slice of cheese cake ( I wanted to eat the whole thing, at least the topping was fresh fruit right?)

I drank about 1.5L of water, and the only workout I got was running in between places.


Saturday

Breakfast
egg on english muffing
2 coffees (on in the car on the way to my parents)

Lunch
chinese style salade with brocolie, carrots, Almonds, Noodles, cabbage
really yummy
Ice cream cone.

Diner
Chicken terriaky stir fry (home made)
frozen thai style veggies lean chicken terrikay sauce no rice or noodles
a home made smoothy for desert (mom wanted to know how to make those)

So on Saturday I drank lots of water don't know how much mom as well water wich I love and I just drank from the tap about 12 glases. ON the work out side we spend about 3 hours outside with the kids...I kick a ball around with my 2year old (future soccer player for sure) Then my mom brought my old pogo stick out I used to be able to skip roap on it ....I can barely make 3 jumps now....but I had a blast trying....I also played hop scotch with my daughter trying to teach her how to play...if was a great day fitness wise with running and jumping!!! I wish I had a big yard like my parents, lots of room to play!

Sunday

Breakfast
egg, with cheese on a 160cal bagel
2 coffee

I will make a vegetable soup for lunch...
diner with be chicken with mashed potatoes ( i used the water the potatoes cooked in instead of milk or butter keeps the cals down.)
and peas the kids will want gravy I just won't have it myself!
 
Hello Forum friends

I don't have much time, or energy today. Tom is on the way...I have a major headache and I am sooo tired....but not feeling as bad as last month it showed that I have been a bit more active. I went for a 2km walk today with the dog and hubby it was nice. I drank 3X 32oz of water so my water consuption is comming back up...so hopefully once TOM is over wich is the next time I will weight in the scale will have gone down.

Diner still undecided I am not even hungry
 
Sounds like it was a fun weekend with the kids. I'm looking forward to that one day. Good work getting the water in - even on my bad days I make sure I at least get that right - I think it helps with the water retention.
Isn't it so much better now that it's getting warmer out! The walks will become longer and you won't even notice because you will want to stay outside longer! Keep it up friend!

It's so nice to be able to go outside with 10lb woth of clothes on....just ditching the boots helps! I am enjoying the walks and my dog is really getting better on a leash and not barking at people as much soon I can go walk with the kids as well as the dog....it will be a nice way to end the day after a nice warm bath I can load them up in the little wagon with their glass of milk and walk around town before their bed time (yes going around town is 2 km)
 
Hi Veronique, I just wanted to stop by to wish you lots of motivation and focus for your weight loss goal. I don't think we can ever afford to lose focus for long if we are prone to eating bad food and putting on weight. Forgive our mistakes quickly and determine to do better from now on.
