Vein in upper forearm hurts

Just recently a pain in forearm started to happen. It's on a vein that lays across the joint on the inside of my elbow. The vein sticks out a bit while workout out but can't really see it nor feel it when im not working out. Every time I lift something and my elbow bends it feels like the vein is popping or like 3 or 4 needles just stabbed it. I don't know what it is and have never experienced this before.Any advice on what happened would be nice or ways to stop the pain would be good.
Thanks in advance

hmm i doubt its actually your vein..

what type of pain is it, sharp/dull? does it hurt when you touch the area as well us when your lifting weights?

I might not be my vein. I could be under it. It only hurts when I'm lifting and for about 30 seconds after I'm done then it usual goes away. It's also a sharp pain too.

It has gotta be the ligament below it, but if you are sure it is the vein, see a doc. Make sure that the weight isn't too much and that your form is good.

It's not the amount of weight because I have used the same amount for acouple weeks now. It could be my form. I'll ask my trainer to watch my form next time I'm in and ask him if he knows anything about it. Thanks alot guys. Another advice on what it is, is still helpful

Hard without a physical examination, but perhaps it coudl also be ligament or something becoming pinched in the joint. Or perhaps straining the comment attatchment of the flexors of the forearm.

Went into the gym today and talked to the trainer about. She said I could have pinched a nerve but she wasn't 100% on it. But that sounds pretty close though. She also said take it easy on the weights for a week and if it continues go see a doctor.

i dont think it could be a nerve because it'd be associated with loss of sensation or tingling refering on the hands, either way see how it goes for a week like they said..
