upper body muscle

i want to gain more upper body muscle (chest, shoulders, arms, back), but my abs are still trying to rid of some fat thats left. what should i do in regards to my diet and exercise?
 
just keep it up. it'll work.
 
haha my football coach was like that...he had a huge upper body but his legs were a little skinny.but he was fast as hell.. he played pro for the vikings and the packers for a little until he injured his knee.

my legs are in pretty good shape.. i used to play football so i was working my legs out alot. i dont want to bulk up too much really. just gain an inch or 2 in my arms and chest.
