Uneven Arms

Guys, I'm having problems bringing my left arm up to par with my right arm. For lighter weights, it not very noticable. But since I'm trying to bulk a little more, I'm using heavy weights, and I'm noticing significant difference between my rigtht arm and left arm. So I'm forcing my left arm to do the same amount as my right arm, and I've stopped BBs all together for now. If you guys got any advice, that'd be great.
 
aside from doing a lot more DB vs. BB work, and keeping the weight consistent on both arms...just start each set with the weak side so your mental focus is stronger for it.
 
If I do the weights I want to do, I find that my left arm is considerably more tired than my right arm. Should I increase recovery time and rest more? Or should I drop my weights down a bit for now and wait until my left arm catches up?
