final exercise for sunday

45 mins on mini stepper: felt great though I learned I have to have the fan on when I work or I overheat

food: in the spirit of thanksgiving i enjoyed myself way more than i should have. chinese, chicken, pie etc.

starting tommorow I track my calories again and I eat right. No leftover chinese. 1 slice of pie after dinner, no cookie breaks and everything I eat gets recorded. I am responsible for my weight and I must be responsible to take it off.

* waves to tru*

Pat is awesome, he knew I needed equipment and couldn't afford it so he got it provided I promised to work hard. Fiancee thinks maybe next week we can pick up an inflatable punching bag to add variety to my routine.

plans for tommorow
atleast 1 hour on the stepper.
atleast 45 mins ddr ( Vs fiancee)
1 walk
clean house
make up food shedule for the week.
look for work

they're jerking me around after training. i got the old ' we'll call you line" so i'm job hunting again as of tommorow.

exercise for the day
20 min walk
10 mins stepper

food
sausages x3 = 720
1 cup yogurt =100
2 cups stroganoff =820
1 peice pie =140
1 peice garlic bread = 150
total = 1930 ^-^

exercise today:
20 mins ddr ( lost my jive when a phone call came mid session)
15 minutes stepper.

food
2 cups stroganoff approx 820 calories

2 small porkchops ( calories unknown)
rice ( calories unknown)
3 cookies 140 calories

did bad with keeping track of food today. I really need to plan my meals better.

Exercise wise i'm gonna aim for 45 mins of ddr tommorrow by planning my session for after my fiance calls to check in from work.

so far today
2 cups yogurt = 200 calories

25 mins ddr

my leg keeps acting funny on the step machine so i may skip it today and do more DDR instead. Or i may do some weights and resistance.

dance dance revolution ^-^ aka step to the pattern of the flashing arrows. i play it at a high enough difficulty that it actually burns some calories by acting as cardio.

update for wednesday
2 cups yogurt = 200 calories
1 premade mircrwave pasta bowl 440 calories
1 chicken breast calories unknown ( package didn't tell us sadly)
half cup of rice 160 calories
half cup of corn 70 calories
total known calories: 870
I know the real total is higher including the chicken but I have a feeling i still went lower than i generally wanted to then

exercise for wednesday
25 mins ddr solo
15 mins ddr vs fiancee

food for thursday ( today)
2 slices of toasted bread 190 calories
1 slice process cheese 35 calories
exercise so far: none

totals for thursday
2 slices of toasted bread 190 calories
1 slice process cheese 35 calories
2 crescent rolls =220 calories
half package of creamy noodles = 400 calories
several slices of ham : calories unknown unable to measure via weight
mini nibs package60
i cup frozen yogurt=260

total known = 1165
again my total looks low but it's not counting how much ham I had which likely tool my up into my chosen range

exercise: 35 mins ddr
1, 20 minute walk.

Lies, anyone can ddr. look it up on youtube. people on crutches can ddr. it just matters which songs you play and on what level.

fridays calories
2xcrescent rolls = 220
2.candy= 120
1 large sausage with bun and mustard unknown
1 can pop =130
3 slices frozen pizza= 810
i cup weird hot chocolate mix ( made by fiancee
known total = 1280
I have a feeling that if you add in the sausage and the hot chocolate i probably went a little over calories today

no real exercise today as it was my rest day. i walked to the grocery store and around it but that's about it.

Tommorow fiance is making big breakfest eggs , hashbrowns toast and bacon etc so I'm going to work extra hard to negate the effects of that because it alone is going to shoot my calories through the roof.

Ah ok...I've never tried it. I've just seen my cousin's kids doin crazy stuff on it at high rates of speed and jumping around, lol. I assumed I needed to be coordinated, and once I got over 300lbs my balance has not been so great. So only thing stoppin me then is I actually don't have DDR, lol. That's ok though because I got my new bike assembled and it's very comfortable :) I had initially bought a recumbent that was really awkward and exchanged it for this upright one so I'm very happy.

p.s. I came back after I wrote this post to tell you I actually googled the DDR crutches just to see how they did it and wow...this is awesome. This guy is kicking some butt, lol.

@-douknowjello: yes one legged dude kicks soem serious ass.

Now at our weights you don't really wanna play the arcade version becuase you have to somp hard to get the metal sensors to respond to home version is so much easier becuase it's a thin plastic mat and you play without socks even. still I've found that you wanna play beginner or the level just above it. beginner has the easiest step patterns and the difficulty is really easy it allows you to workout without stressing out about having to memorize hard patterns or plan ahead too much.

Also it prevents you from performing too many jumps or gettign so excited you step down too hard and hurting yourself. at least once a month I bruise my ankle pushing down too hard when I play a song that a little out of my league.

Bwahah once you're good enough you can move onto doubles. you hook up two pads and the arrows are spread across the screen meaning you may nee to press up on the right pad and then left on the left pad. it's a hell of a lot harder and i'm nowhere near good enough to play at that level yet.

Honestly if you've got a playstation 2 and 80$ i suggest you go out grab a copy and a dance pad. It's can be exercise but it's also great fun. It's also been proven to help people loose weight .
