Hey there Sarah. Today became an accidental rest day. I really strained my right arm and my back still really aches and I got messed up with my sleeping again. slept double my normal hours I think I'm wearing myself out or I need to learn not to lay down.

Still several hours before today ends and I'm getting some informal exorcise done but not much. This whole week is screwed up but at least my body is getting used to being active again. Next week I'm determined to shed at least two pounds. Still i've untill monday at like 4 am EST before my final weigh i. If i kick it in gear tommorow and sunday I can at least say i really gave it my all.
 
Why hello there period thanks for showing up right now. even if I have lost weight I just know I'm going to bloat now and have cramps from hell making working out a bitch.

In other news, in order to actually plan my diet and stick to it it helps if i can eat at the same time every day. I have no clue how many calories I consumed today but I Have a feeling it wasn't enough.

I got off to a slow start but I got some exorcise in today as well. :)

Sounds like you are committed to getting healthy, that's for dang sure! I hear ya on the Timmy's bagels being hard to pass up...Oh, snap, those are good! ;)

Have you recovered from your muscle strain? Just in time for Aunt Flo? OMGosh, it stinks being female for at least one week of the month, anyway. You just know I don't get weighed that week! I am usually cranky enough at that time!

Yep muscle strain is gone and I've been working through the odd other aches in my body that aren't really an issue.

I'm determined as heck and I'm working through old aunt Flo's visit. Wrestling with the fiancee ( was fun and I didn't even mind sweating) doing what I can from the comp chair when I'm in it and creating my own shedule and exorcises ( damn you non accessible gyms)

243.8 that's right 4 pounds in 1 week. I'm going to chalk most of it up to water weight but dammit that just motivating as hell. I guess the change in diet and all those walks and workouts really did pay off.

This week is going to be even better. we grocery shopped yesterday we have meal plans so now more random meals of unknown calories at random hours. Also slimfast shakes are returning properly this week.

Tonight is t.v night we'll see how that goes. I think I'll lay on the floor and so some sit ups or something and then harder work during commercials.

I think i'm going to go snack on some carrots and salad dressing.
 
It seems your doing a fantastic job so far, and over coming those little finicky obstacles that pop up for some of us ladies. (aunt flo) uggg!! I like the fact that you do carrots for snacks, MMMM I love those!! Are you doing measurements as well as weigh ins?? Sometimes that can be even more motivating when the weight sits still for a few days and your waist and arms start shrinking, it happens trust me, I've been down that road. Well, I think your doing a FAB job, so keep up the good work, and hopefully your muscles will be good to you on your next power workout. GOOD LUCK and have a good rest of your week!

tis canadas thanksgiving. we'll see if that effects my weight loss goals.
 
well that was made of fail. i'm pretty sure i just blew all the work i did last week. on the other hand it was thanksgiving at a friends house and i felt bad not trying a little of everything offered because i've been here all weekened watching it get made.

Played more ddr. ankle still hurts but isn't too bad. i doubt I've lost weight this weekned but maybe i've kept off the gaining with all the stairs and drr i've done.
 
Don't sweat a bad week, make up for it this week and really try harder!! You can do it!! No gain is a good week too, so even if you didn't lose, it's better than putting on a few. So don't be hard on yourself. Today is a new day, take it and OWN IT!! Good luck!:jump:

thanks ladybug. i've been keeping the weight steady but not it's time to lose some more. this week I'm going all out, cold or not. I'm revved up and ready to burn some calories.

ALRIGHT!! I feel the same way this week, last week I didn't lose anything and I ate within maintenance, so it was expected, PLUS aunt flo visited on Friday, need I say more. LOL LOL SO we are both going to bust tail this week and we BOTH are going to see the scale go down by next Monday. HIP HIP HOORAY, let's DO IT!!!! Have a great day today!

someone yell at me please. I lost 2 more pounds and did nothing. i ate out, ate cake icing and lazed about. now unless i sweat out two pounds during my sickness or chair dancing and my oen day of exercise i feel like i cheated.

every day I am starting to keep track of what i what i eat and how much I work out. T.v days be damned i will put in more effort and do this right.

UMMM Chair dancing??? must explain this one. I'm waiting......... LOL LOL don't feel cheated, you lost weight, either way your body is working on those calories, and that's okay! But your right you have to get focused and really buckle down and make note of what you eat. If you don't it will eventually hit a plateau and then you need to know what to change up, in order to keep losing. I like your determination, now put it in full force, and you will continue going down on that scale. Good luck to you this week!! And try to get in some excercise! HUGS!!

lol just dancing while you sit in your chair. it's actually quite fun and still gets me moving while i work on other things as well.

Nanowrimo steals most of my energy this month writing 1667 words each day is sorta daunting but i'm doing it. it takes away from my workout time but also make me mentally content.

In good news i've lost some inches even if my weight isn't shifting much.
 
Debating quitting nano so that I actually have more time to dedicate to working out. I don't want to but i can really do Nano anytime and just call it writing. I want my body in shape Now ^-^.

honey bun = 640
rice kirspy square- 270

This is not good. however we are grocery shopping tonight so we can actually eat full meals again and i won;t be starving at odd hours.

Your right, incorporate a few fresh fruits or veggie into your menu and that will be good! Oh and don't forget your protein, that essential in weight loss and building lean muscle. I love your chair dancing thing, that sounds like a blast! And it doesn't matter what the exercise is, as long as your moving, your burning calories, so good job!
And I know you mentioned quitting the Nano, but you know it's up to you and what's important to you, do what you need to stay focused and healthy.

hehe good to see you ( will skim you diary again when i get back from my walk later)

Joined the christmas challenge a day late ( becuase i forgot to post yesterday) and hoping it will do me some good.

Yeah really bad budgeting lead me to eating 1 meal a day last week and while I mysteriously dropped 4 pounds ( all of which have come back now that I've had some food in the last two days). This week I hope to relose that weight the right way.

Chair dancing is a blast and depending on the house I turn the music up and dance around the living room singing and swaying till I sweat.

Nano is fun and i've done it several years running. Truth is I can write a novel any time. i can write whenever I have spare time or the desire to jot down a few paragraphs. theres a certain thrill in the homg must get my 1667 words done NOW thign and having a huge support group. Still I can and have written without Nano and it's an extra stress on my body right now ( running about 3-5 hours sleep just so i can get my words in, find time for the fiancee and do dailey activities) Plus the sugar and alcohol involved in staying awake and productive are not making the fiancee happy.

Right now I think I'd rather get healthy then write 50k words that will take me at least a year to turn into anything edited enough to make a decent novel.

Thanks for the luck I shall need it.

better eating + actually sleeping is making me feel much better and helping me get through hopping back on the wagon.

am a bit screwed this weekened as I'm going to medival times for a friends birthday party. there is no menue it's automatic

all this eaten with my hands ^-^ . i know everyone has cheat days but this is gonna be a disaster. no we're shelling out 100$ to go so we can;t really waste food either. however I have a plan.

Water only, no pop or beer.
sponge excess butter off the garlic bread ( gods they make it so good)
Chicken skin goes to my fiancee.

hopefully this lessesns the damage a bit.

Wow, I am jealous that you get to go to a Medieval dinner! My dh and I would love that sort of thing. We had a blast bombing around Scotland, touring castles and haunts, etc. The menu you wrote for the dinner actually doesn't sound too bad. You are right to only drink water. My advice is to TRY TO LIMIT YOUR PORTION SIZE as soon as the meal comes. Determine you will only eat one piece of garlic bread, half the pastry, etc. This is how I handle eating out, and it works pretty well. You and yours are going to have such a grand time!!! :biggrinjester:

I also want to encourage you to try and increase your protein intake, as when I did this, my craving for all things sweet seemed to vanish. No kidding, and I have always had one biiiiiiiiig sweet tooth (and a biiiiiiiiiig butt to prove it!). Now, if I simply must have some chocolate fudge crackle ice cream, I dish out an entire 1/2 cup of it. I put it into a small bowl, maybe add a tsp of pnut bttr and 1/3 of a banana, and I AM IN HEAVEN! Plus, I didn't do too much damage.

My eating has to fit into my "real life," so I still eat things that bring me pleasure; it just takes less to bring that pleasure now. The REAL pleasure comes when I can slip into a pair of pants I thought would only fit in my dreams! ;)

Hey there *snugs*. I had a right fricken blast. We were in the evil green knights sections. We cheered the loudest of any group both for him ( who was amusingly the only knight of any non caucasion ethnicity) and during the birthday announcement s for our friends. my fiance got him to sign our crowns after the tournament.. then he hit on her . clearly i can;t leave her alone ^-^

i hated to soup and gave it to keith, ate the garlic bread and chicken. have my single huge spare rib and my pastry. I had only one cup of pop and a mug of tea.

After the tournament we went to the knights lounge and danced for an hour. trust me when you have one girl in bondage pants ( when she was gettign knighted they asked her not to handcuff the king ^-^) one boy in chains with a tail, two people in cosplay and a girl in a gothic lolita dress all on the floor at once you get some interesting looks.

It was fun though and i feel like i worked off some of that dinner. then some of us went to matts place and crashed for the night. we stayed upa bit talked anime and video games then slept. we stayed at matts most of sunday and i worked out on his stationary bike while still talking to everyone so it was fun.

Ready to get back in the game today.

Gonna help the fiance with our groceries this week so i can try and manage my food intake a bit better
