Two vs. One Resistance Exercise Sessions in One Day: Acute Effects on Recovery and Performance

Interesting at a time when many people are training at home and might actually have the option of splitting up their workouts. I wonder if the effect holds up across different training levels.
 
I think for the average gym goer splitting training would be more of a hinderance than benefit, it is hard enough to get the general public to exercise once in a day. However as you suggest those training at home in pandemic conditions would have the opportunity to see how well it works for them as individuals and their specific needs and abilities.
