this is 6 days in a row without any fast food at all...including no food from gas stations or anywhere but home

thats the longest i been without fast food in a long time...sad
 
AHHHHHHHHHHHH Thats AWESOME !!!!!!!! Isnt that an amazing feeling when ur clothes fit loose ???? I havent seen that yet with my new way of life but i will get there.

No fast food or chocolate for me ... even watched my hubby eat some chocolate and I didnt even want it ... ok maybe a lil BUT i didnt eat it !! :)

im still having cravings but havent given in...still doing pretty good, really hope i can keep this up

i know i wont lose as much weight this week as i did last week...but thats fine as long as i lose...my goal was i think 228 for this sunday, im not sure if ill hit my goal or not


im keeping my weight in a spreadsheet set up for the date, my weight, and my goal weight for each weight

my goal is 3 pounds a week, i figure i can be at 200 pounds by may

Great work on your progress! I will tell you giving up junk food is SO HARD, I was LITERALLY eating fast food 9+ times a WEEK, one time I went to my bank statement and highlited all of my transactions at McDonalds for one month and I had 63 flipping purchases.... IN A MONTH!!!!

Now I just make sure I don't get hungry, because when I am hungry I reach for the first convenient thing and if I don't have a meal or snack with me, the fastest thing to get is something from the drivethrough. Now when I go to school I bring 1/4 cup nuts in a baggie, a banana, and 1/2 cup high fiber cereal to snack on throughout the day, and I always plan what I am going to have for lunch before I get hunger pangs so that I don't give in and levitate to those "golden arches!"

It is really hard, but trust me it gets so much easier. What I found works is just staying away from fast food places at all, to me I cannot even get a Wendy's side salad because I will be tempted and get a frosty too. Now I go to wholefoods if I don't have a lunch with me and get a sandwich with a bunch of grilled veggies, lean meat, and mushrooms, and I always make sure I have a water bottle on hand.

thanks for the support..unfortunately today i fell apart

when i got home from work i couldnt go in my apartment hardly at all, there was a pipe burst and water everywhere....i was in a pissed off mood in the first place, went out and got some taco bell

its no excuse really and i regret it now but im just going to get back on track...im not proud of it but 1 meal wont kill me...but i probably wont make my weight goal, i dont even know if ill lose any weight at all this week
 
i had a new idea i want to do...im going to cancel my cable (i dont watch it much) and use the money to get a gym membership
 
Don't beat yourself up about the slip! :) You have been doing so well! Sometimes we deserve a little snacky pick me up... The key is to REALLY enjoy it when you do, drink lots of water to get it moved on out, and get back to your plan... :hurray:
 
ok went to the grocery store today....since i started doing this my grocery bill has went up almost $30 from what it was before, but im saving money because im not spending all the money on fast food anymore

i did the math and i probably ate fast food 6 times a week....average of about $6 per meal and thats $36 a week

got all good stuff again....week 2 weighin is tomorrow and it wont be that great, i think i only lost 1-2 pounds to be honest

Starting weight- 242.5 lbs
Week 1- 233.5

week 2 weight coming tomorrow

also i dont know if i mentioned this but i have put my weight along with my goal weight in a spreadsheet which i will post whenever ive lost a good amount
 
230 lbs exactly

Starting weight- 242.5
Week 1 weight- 233.5
Week 2 weight- 230.0


from this point if i lose 3 pounds a week i will hit 200 pounds exactly on may 1st

Hi! Just wanted to wish you good luck and tell you to keep hanging in there, and if you can't hang in there(which I think you can) duct tape works real well...hahahaha. Seriously though.....Hang in there! I know it's hard....but I think you're doing great!

lol thanks, i probably did snack a little to much but everything i ate was healthy or atleast somewhat healthy

i honestly havent been craving fast food or junk food much, ive found some healthy foods that taste ok
 
lol wow this is depressing...i just found a thread i made on here the first time i came here (this is my second)

i was 203 pounds and looked alot better then i do now

its funny cuz i forgot about it then remembered it today, go back and look at the thread and it was exactly 1 year ago today

for some reason it depresses me but also motivates me...i went from 203 to 242 in 1 year :(
 
still at it, i want to post in this everyday...for some reason it seems to make me feel like im still on track even if i already know i am

goal for monday- 227 lbs (3 lb loss)
 
same story as usual, might of ate a little to much today but everything i ate was somewhat healthy

still no more fast food or anything
 
I may have won that week .. but you did this week lol ... Lost internet connection but im back now :) I had chinese and pizza yesterday ... WOW .. Dont feel bad about having a thread a yr ago ... it just means your still working at it ..and thats NOTHING to be depressed about .. infact it takes courage to keep going .. and thats what your doing ! :) Keep it up !
 
well this sucks, i lost my digital camera so if i take updated pictures they will be shitty cell phone pictures

i was planning on taking pictures every couple months or so
