Trying to bulk up, what should I get for my home gym?

Hey, I am going to make a mini-home gym in my basement, I was hoping someone can tell me what to get.. I am hoping I can just get a barbell and weights set and a bench and use that for deadlifts, squats, etc. Do I need anything really or will that be fine?

Also, can someone write out a good workout plan to bulk for me please with the equipment you recommend me getting. Thanks so much.

P.S. I know what to eat.. Protein, carbs, non saturated fats, etc.

Maybe a refrigerator to keep some food in, or maybe a squat rack.

Really though, forget everything you think you know about eating. If you want to bulk, you need to eat tons of food. You won't get there by eating nothing but egg whites and oatmeal. You need lots of food. Eat McDonalds. Put peanut butter on everything you eat. Take shots of olive oil. Wake up in the middle of the night to make a sandwich. Eat all day long. What and how much you eat is far more important than your workout. Don't worry about eating clean right now. If you want to get big, you need to eat big.

You need a rack or cage (preferable a rack), bench and barbell w/ 300lbs at a minimum.

Here's some ideas for racks and cages:

This is, IMHO, the most ideal, but shop around, you might find it cheaper elsewhere:

Benches:
Lots to choose from, I love my body-solid FID-71. It's rated to hold 1000lbs.

A 300lbs oly set can be as cheap as $110 from a local Dicks, Sportsauthority, etc.

Also check Craigslist, the classifeds and equipment resellers, such as "Play It Again Sports" for good deals on used equipment.
