Without the stuff I damn near come close to passing out for the rest of the day after an hrs workout (plus 15min bike ride to and from). I have been taking the stuff for a while (almost a year now (eek)). I only take one pill about an hour before exercise at the gym, usually in the morning. If its a really long ride (bike) I might have two. I'd like to ditch them completly but I find I can't get the same intensity(one hr without is twice as hard as two hrs with). I already have a cup of coffe in the morning, does anyone have any good pick-me-ups in the morning.
(I ead a fairly good sized breakfast, pancakes turkey or meatless bacon, coffe the rest of my son's breakfast...)
Oh yeah while I work out I've been trying this german work out drink, kind of like gatorade with L- carotene, it seems to help a little.
